After yesterday's crazy score. A boring win by five goals would be nice. I'll settle for three points of any kind though. Spurs biggest threat left in league.
REFEREE IS MICHAEL OLIVER. please log in to view this image Assistant: Stuart Burst, Simon Bennett, Fourth Officer: Martin Atkinson VAR: Darren England Assistant: VAR Mark Perry
Once upon a time we had a ref and two linesmen. Now we have a ref, two assistants, a fourth official, a VAR ref and an assistant VAR ref. And they still can't get nearly enough things right. Although I've always had some sympathy for them when players are constantly trying to con them.
the home corwd is an advantage. but this is the toughest game left as its the won where the team we play have something to play for. Spurs villa (a) Southampton (a) wolves. I think wolves will be out of europe conversation and just looking to go on holiday. Spurs looked bloody awful at the back v Leicester but son cut them up and they just broke Leicester's hearts but then again Leicester were awful at the back too. I can see son running in behind us all day and killing us all day. I just have a very bad feeling about that part of the game. we need to score at least 3 to get a win IMO. at least 3. As per city get the extra day to recover for home gimmie v newcastle. we have to win to apply any sort of pressure. The opportunity here is to really grind their gears again. then: We play villa on Tuesday and city play wolves Away Wednesday We play the fa cup final and west sham away the following Sunday (again getting the best break possible, pricks) then finally villa at home in a total gimme on the final day which is a Sunday again. a full week to prep to win the tile. we MUST have the title in our hands by the time the fa cup rolls round. If it goes to the last day its a bob hope situation. In short if city grind it out v newcastle, wolves and west ham they've won it imo. This is not a difficult thing for a side with so many players. Its 4 games in the next week
Liverpool v Tottenham is important to Tottenham but Tottenham v Arsenal is more important to them, that one is probably winner takes all. That one is on Thursday 12 May.
Just wait until the game is officiated by omniscient, sentient AI. Obviously City will own the parent company of the AI and will have software that cannot penalise City players, just like in Robocop
I think it's possible we will have the technology to have AI refereeing in our lifetime. Suspect it won't happen though.
Well you say that but spurs are 2 points behind so a loss this weekend and arsenal win and the 4th place is nearly gone. They have to come for a result.
Indeed. Spurs won't care about our dreams of a quad. They're here for a fourth place trophy. They won't roll over for us. They'll do their best
