Cooper isn't PL class as a player but he's ****ing Champions League when it comes to organisation and leadership. We've lacked that all season.

Does anyone have any news on our injuries?
I read that Bamford was training. How fit is he? If he's even 80% we need him for the run in.
Any update on Cooper's injury? Will he be available for the Arse?
Is Forshaw anywhere near coming back?
    What about Llorente?

Yep. Kieffer Moore. 5 million Welsh international signed in January.

Question to the forum. Is Kieffer Moore better than what we've had available since January up front?

Last I heard was Bamford might be able to play a bit part for the last two games.

Cooper felt pain in his knee when striking the ball in the warm up. The club were hopeful it would clear up for Arsenal.

Forshaw out for the season. He has a fractured knee cap.

Llorente felt a tight muscle in training so decision was made to rest him vs City so he could be available for the remaining games.

Dallas is a bad one. Could be 6 months, could be career ending.

Edit... Summerville ankle injury rules him out for the season too.

I understand that. Suppose we will find out next season. He's just scored the winner for Bournemouth which sends them up.

Personally I think he would have done a better job than James or Rodrigo up top. (Obviously in hindsight <laugh>)

Not the outcome I wanted. Bournemouth are FFP cheats like Villa and Derby.

The gulf between the PL and the rest is summed up when you look at Mitrovic. He scores for fun in the Championship but he's nowhere near as effective in the PL, same with Pukki.
If we go down it will be incredibly tough to get back up because we don't have a player like that. The money will help but there's loads of teams in the Championship with parachute payments now. The worst thing about going down is that it will be just as difficult to stay up, if we do manage to get back, as it is now.

Also note that every second year Fulham or Norwich are relegated with several games remaining yet they each run away with the championship the following season

How would you feel about this team if we do get relegated:

    Klaesson
    Drameh Cresswell Cooper Hjelde
    Forshaw Bate
    Summerville Greenwood James
    Gelhardt

    Bench
    Kenneh
    Klich
    Ayling
    Struijk
    ...... Etc

I'd feel it would be a long long time back in the wilderness.

If we do go down then keeping Bamford would be absolutely vital.

    Llorente, Firpo, Raphinha, Phillips

We’d only need to sell those, Rodrigo might ask for a move. Forza mentioned similar the other day
    ………………Meslier…………..
    Drameh - Ayling - Koch - Cooper - Harrison
    ……….. Forshaw - Klich ………..
    Summerville - Bamford - James

Convert Harrison to a LWB, Harrison and James, Drameh and Summerville they would surely terrorise down the flanks. I’d personally like us to raid the Championship for upgrades on Forshaw and Klich, we’d have the likes of Shackleton, Roberts, Costa, Struijk, Gelhardt, Bate and Hjelde to sell or use too
