relegation would be depressing enough, but if it could be worse, the thought of that tool’s fist pumping celebrations as Everton survive instead of us might leave me needing counselling.
Imagine having a blunts v botherers play off final the week after being relegated - might have to leave the country
Leeds United defender Stuart Dallas will have surgery on the broken leg he suffered in Saturday's 4-0 Premier League defeat by Manchester City. Leeds said Dallas, 31, suffered a femoral fracture and is set for "a lengthy period out of action". The Northern Ireland international was injured in a challenge with Jack Grealish late in the first half and left the pitch on a stretcher. He spent Saturday night in hospital and will travel to London for surgery.
after today it gets a bit easier for them. They are jeckyll and Hyde home and away. Away they have won 1 drawn 3 lost 12. you look at Watford away (worst home side v worst away side) and the home games against Brentford and palace as their most likely route for points. wouldn’t be a shock for them to get something at Leicester who are a soft touch themselves. my best guess is 2 wins 2 draws 8 points. Plus anything they might get today.. as franks 1-10-0-0 formation continues to frustrate Chelsea
Reading up on it, they feel it takes an average of 9.5 months for a footballer to return from one, sometimes the discomfort of the metal plate means a further operation. At his age now you do wonder if we will see him in a Leeds shirt again
Depends how bad the fracture is. If its not a bad one he could be available at the start of next season. If its a really bad one, he might not play for a year. He's off to London to be operated on. They'll know when they open him up.
Think we need two wins and a draw to stay up now. Can see Everton getting 9 points, two home wins as they’re quite good and 3 from Watford as they’ll be bad and ****e. Think Burnley will win both home gets a lose both away giving them 6 more points. This would leave Burnley on 40 and Everton on 41 so I think we need to be targeting wins in our home gets and at least a point from Brentford. If we can get something from Arsenal that would also help but I can’t see it. Going to be tough.
You don't seem to have considered the impact our new pitch may have had on injuries ? From memory that's Phillips, Cooper, Firpo & Dallas who've suffered serious injuries whilst playing at ER this season. No idea personally what's been going on but I'll state again that Jesse should have kept his trap shut and just focused on coaching the team and most definitely not doing the media rounds.
Yep playing football on grass pitches should be banned it's just too dangerous for young men these days.
