Edit: Urgh, and it gets better! Running a comfortable 6th with my last pit stop made, and the guy behind me appears to have hit me, as we've both pitted together. Annoyingly, he gets out in front of me, and I'm left in 14th. Even Worse!: Just worked out I'd currently be sitting in 3rd without the accidents.
If anyone gets a chance, take a look at Rookie 155, theres currently only 6 drivers with healthy cars!
Finished 12th, a little disappointing after a strong middle to the race. Roll on next season! Anyone know how long it takes for the next season to begin? Are we racing tuesday? EDIT: Seeing as the reset is scheduled for the 1st, I'm guessing no racing then.
After the first lap pitstop and 44 seconds pitstop recovering to 7th was a good race. Disappointingly though I had the pace and strategy for 2nd/3rd.
I won a single point for my troubles, only mu second points scoring of the season. 11 points this season, heres hoping for a better next time.
finished 8th in the end, probably could've won but for the technical problem without refueling, 2 stops on the medium was the right call. well done on promotion happyal, heres to a new season.
Started 17th and finished 9th. Looks like my new driver will work out well. Also started the race 22mil in debt, finished 14mil in debt yet my driver has 66 motivation! Not what I expected. Started the season at race 10 and finished with 8 points. Seems a good start. Looking forward to next season. Is there going to be a Not606 Racing Team?
Well done to Mifune, it looks like you have been promoted Season reset takes place tomorrow. What are everyone plans for the new season? I'll be looking to get a new driver, not sure what to look for yet. Apart from that, I’m just going to try to survive in amateurs.
Seems like the guy who came first in my group and won nearly every race finished in about £25m in debt, he also was in the master league last season which is a bit strange seeing as he was in rookie this season. Well done for your promotion as well. Yeah my plans are the same as yours; sign a new driver and then look to just survive in amateur.
There are a few peopel in my group who won loads of races but got themselves into loads of debt. I think they are just trying to have some fun, and get wins. If you haven't already I recommend you join a team, doesn't mean we can't join in here and share data.
hey guys its me Ben but under different name, had problem signing in with my proper name but awell, well done mifune and happyal on promoting. im looking foward to this season i have a strong driver and trainable too. by the looks of it alot of people suffered alot of car wear in last race including me. ill be interested to see how this new grip level affects
Gotta say im so glad I dont have to find a new driver in rookie, the market is crazy and there is still 2 days to go you're looking at least 3mil salary for a half decent driver. Got my pit stops and commercial up at 20 and trained my driver, looking forward to this season especially with the top 4 gone. The grip level looks interesting but affects higher leagues mostly as they can choose tyre manufacturer.
The other thing to do early on is get into negotiation with sponsors, so you can get the most money out of them. I've upped commercial and pit stops to 18 right away, and started training my driver. With 0 motivation due to my debt at the end of last season, his overall was 80, so I can train him a little, and if promotion looks unlikely, hold onto him again. The grip thing looks interesting, but I don't think we can do a lot about it really.
TheModestMatt lol i saw that too. 34 bids on one guy and rising. there was even more than 5 bids with a guy who has a salary of 3 mil, imagine his sign on fee! DHcanary good idea to get going with sponsors i got mine hooked up, what are ur driver stats? i upgraded pitstop to level 20 but not commercial. what exactly is commercial? im guesin for sponsors right? also has any one had any thoughts on strategy for sahkir?
