I thought Williams was completely done for after being down 7-1 from the first two sessions, fair play to him he did amazing to get back and take it to the end. Trump won’t be so confident as he would have expected.

Epic match between Trump and Williams and Trump got the luck when it mattered most. Higgins was awful and Ronnie cruised it surprisingly. He has to up it and not leave Trump easy starter's as he'll be punished unlike he was by Higgins. Needs to get off to a fast start and put Trump under it and hope he melts. Come on Ron, please one more performance from the golden era. Please
Great start and what a frame to pinch early on. Hopefully Trump won't get it out of his head for the rest of the session. Ron has to keep his foot to the pedal and avoid any mistakes.
Bollox, that was a big last frame and Ronnie needed to win that session 6-2 to put Trump right under it. Anywhere but behind the blue and he would've cleared up and obviously swore after it as the ref pulled him up. Good job the session ended there and hopefully Ron can refocus for this evening.
Trump looking like a club player at the start of the second session. Ronnie isn't even on top form and is 9-4 up. Could get embarrassing for Trump if he doesn't pull himself together.

Yep Trump looks a spent force and is badly out of form like Higgins was. Ron's just played at the same high standard throughout the tournament and mopped up when needed. 6 more frames required and it's payday. Please. Go on Ron. See he got an official warning from the ref for a rude gesture. Pathetic he did it against Gilbert too but he's doing it to himself when he gets frustrated at playing a poor shot, surely these numpties realise that after all these years. The pressure of equalling Hendry's 7 titles is definitely weighing on Ron, missing too many balls especially long pots. That last frame was huge and Trump got a monumental fluke to clear up. No doubt Ron would've from that position too. Has to clear his head , forget about his tip and come out and play like 20 years ago. Dig deep Ronald ffs
