Dyche's ego would not allow him to drop down a division would it? Plus he'd be too expensive. Also he's taken on Warnock's mantle for moaning and whinging.
And look at them since he left ! Cooper has done incredibly there and wouldn't surprise me if they turn over Bournemouth and finish 2nd. I wouldn't be wanting Hughton
I've stated mine about 10 times but I'll say again. I want the River Plate manager but it's never gonna happen. Barring this I'll take either MK Dons manager or Forest Greens as a gamble. I know full well our board and hierarchy won't have the foresight to go looking for a young manager abroad in the Portuguese or South American leagues so it leaves homegrown managers. I'm praying it's not another dinosaur or one with minimal foresight and tactical awareness.
He was **** at Sheffield earlier this season and I don't like the guy , moody and arrogant ala Sherwood. Look at Sheffields form since he went , almost up with Forest's since Hughton went.
Trust me you'd be whining if we got any of those managers ! I'm retired apart from helping out at a care home voluntarily. Why don't you put me on ignore or just don't read my posts if they aggravate you that much ?
I follow the South American football very closely, especially the Argentine leagues. Gallardo is the man you are talking of. A very well respected coach in both argentina and uruguay. He could be destined for one of the top European jobs to be fair.
I listened to Warb's past match interview this morning. He said the club had received FIVE letters of apology re incorrect referee decisions! FIVE!! Even with our appalling run, the addition of those potential extra points might have just been enough to keep us in the mix. I'd love to know how many such letters were sent to our nearest competitors. Onwards to 22/23.
I'm thinking promoting Eustace might be the answer. He's turned down Swansea at least to stay with us. Rumour has it Watford are interested in him and Warburton. He'd provide continuity to the good work Warburton has done. He did well as caretaker after McClaren went, kept us up. I get the impression he's his own man, looks to give Warburton his opinions which Warburton sometimes went with, sometimes didn't. Think he'd command respect from the players. With Ramsey in the background too, it could work well, if we can keep most of our best players, get them fit and strengthen the quality in depth to give us better back-up when injuries pile up again, as surely they will given the crazy 3 game a week fixture programme. The Budget will be a problem to squad strengthening but promoting Eustace won't cost as much as bring in someone from outside might. But I'm of the opinion our collapse the last 3 months is simply due to the injuries to key players, Willock and Dieng in particular but also many others towards the end Barbet, Dickie, Moses etc., the loss of fitness/ form of Austin and Johansen, while our squad was thin on quality back-up. The back -up players simply weren't good enough due to our Budget, to maintain promotion form or even keep us top half it seems. Not Warburton's fault really, he tried fixes some helped, some didn't like playing Field at CB to have 3 at the back left our midfield too weak yesterday.
