Yup. Well he’s now in Glasgow. And he has some interesting news. It involves a French club and one of our players leaving.

They really are, almiron is the worst. Headless chicken. It's scary to think how much quality we actually need.

One of the first things kids are taught is play with your head up. He’s 28 and can’t do it. He’s no threat at all and is woeful against a high line and effective offside.

ASM gets worse each week. He’s against probably the best defence in world football and he’s running at them as if he’s in a five a side match. When he gets a sighter his shooting is also shocking.

Wood, I can’t even be bothered. Woeful and needs selling end of season. Nowhere near good enough at this level and completely wrong for the football Howe wants to play. Another Nickson master stroke.

You mean there’s a club out there actually interested in one of our players?! Miracles exist.

Lads players like almiron were brought in to fight for 17th and in his case he's given everything... He was good enough vs Palace but today he was up against to Robertson and while he didn't threaten he kept that ****er quiet.. He's usually up that side causing havoc.

Essentially these lads are good enough for this season and over the next few years they will know they're going to be moved on.

Personally in grateful they fought for the club and kept us up which was a huge part to play in what the future holds..

Don’t sell Almiron or ASM. Look at our bench today. We sign first team starters. Almiron and ASM become our bench

I bet the owners are chuffed to bits how well this has worked out. It begs the question why didn't Ashley get a decent manager in?

Referee today was absolutely shocking for both teams. Numerous times he would insist on blowing his whistle after an infringement to give a free kick to the team who had the ball and were in the process of going forward.

Also seemed incapable of telling when a player was fouled and fell over and when it was just a gust of wind that caused a grown man to fall over. Can we campaign for red cards to all players caught diving please.

I’m glad to see what’s happened to Everton, other than the fact they seem to rim the mackems, we can actually learn from their mistakes, hopefully.

Just hope we don’t buy any of the ****e they’ll try sell if they go down

For a few weeks and then I’m sure most players will catch on that contact doesn’t mean dying swan shot with elephant gun routine then follows.

I agree with @Roland Deschain comment earlier about intelligence, you can have all the talent.. the speed, strength, technique but without footballing intelligence it counts for half it could do.

Almiron is a perfect example, he has speed, he has a great engine, his technique is so-so but just imagine if he had better intelligence, knowing when to pass, when to conserve his energy, he’d be so much better. It’s a natural thing though, quite often you just either have it or you don’t, hard to train intelligence into someone. It’s hard enough drilling common sense into someone.

In tandem with this, referees need to learn that you don’t need to fall on the floor for it to be a foul. If someone is fouled but stays on their feet, they very rarely ever get fouls unless it’s a clear pull or something. It’s partly why players tend to exaggerate the contact and unnatural falls.

That said, some are just awful dives and should def be retro punished.
