I have always liked our local sides to do well, so for me, to see Bournemouth promoted is a no-brainer. What is surprising about Bournemouth is their failure to maximise potential support by expandng the Vitality Stadium, or building a new stadium that can cater for 20,000-25,000 as the catchmetnt area is around 400,000 which is bigger than clubs like Norwich, Ipswich and Burnley.
I think that is more to do with the council that own the surrounding ground around the stadium. And local opposition to any expansion from residents. It may be in Boscombe, but the immediate and really close residential area is quite nice. However, the stadium is perfectly placed just off the dual carriage way. I would just love it though for them to have another year there - it will shut up all the neighbours around me that large it and seem to think Southampton are rivals.
Richie says his is still working, which is weird. I access mine via MS Edge through my Xbox. How do you access it? I’ve tried setting it up on my phone and iPad but I still get the “server can’t be found” message. It’s incredibly frustrating
They've only gone and bloody done it! Up the yellows, Hampshire's finest! Back in the conference, and in football manager, for the first time in about 10 years
How about giving some praise to Wincheste City who beat Bristol Manor Farm 4-1 this afternoon to get promotion out of the Southern League Divion One South to ensure that they will now play their football in the highest tier since their formation in 1884. A long wait for a club that boasts two England internationals from it's ranks. I would have to be honest that some of the football Craig Davis' team has played the last few seasons has been terrific. There is was excellent talent in that squad.
Have you changed the server URL to connect to since October? They sent me an email and I did, but on one of my Apple TVs I didn't (as barely use it) and when I went to use it the other day it didn't work (though the others did). I'll PM you the server URL.
Good for Winchester. There's far too few Hampshire clubs in the upper echelons of non-league football. It's all London, Essex and Hertfordshire teams. Plus they've got a derby v Hartley Wintney to look forward to next season.
Although I expect the game to be played in completely the opposite way. Forest will attack - they simply have no choice. Which will suit Bournemouth. It has the makings of a high scoring classic.
Because I want it to happen I doubt Forest will win. My Bompey supporting mates ave really gone quiet over the last few weeks after absolute cockiness. They haven't even tried to take the piss out of us and I don't think th e6-0 was even mentioned. They are worried Though some on here believe that we won't be playing them next year if they come up.....
No, Forest certainly aren't. Last time I recall they were in the premier league was when I had my Merlin PL 2000 or whatever sticker album. Bournemouth have potential to be, but at least they aren't as useless as Norwich and Fulham.
