Then maybe some of them need to leave as well Meant to be professionals Do the job they are paid handsomely to.do Show some respect to the mugs that pay the wages
Absolutely. Unfortunately, once the players lose respect for the coach the result is always the same.
Listened to MW after match interview Col and agree he certainly had a moan about the players performance at the Stoke game (quite deservedly from what I’ve heard and read from different reports). To be honest he looked, and sounded, crestfallen at the performance. He seemed lost at where that low level of performance has come from. You can hear he feels that all the training, match planning and travel was well planned, with the only thing missing being the players performance and result. Good to hear Albert standing up in the dressing room and cajoling the team. I’m not sure he’s lost the dressing room completely but something doesn’t feel right. He’s going to need to get a grip and keep the players and boardroom with him. Last two games will be interesting to see if everyone is on the beach or up to playing out the season. While polls are supporting him with most fans, I’m not convinced his place is secure at all - and he looks as though he knows that. Can’t help but feel if I can see it, so can the players.
If he is going as Dave Mac seems to believe they must have someone lined up otherwise it's pretty negligent given the short off season period. Feels like we're in for a chaotic summer. Barbet, Ball, Adomah, Wallace, Odabajo all out of contract and presumably we wont try or be able to retain any of the loanees. Plus we didn't sell anyone last summer so are we likely to want to cash in one of our few assets? Is Austin likely to see out his contract? Who could we attract manager-wise with the budget of a bottom 6 club and the level of ins and outs the squad is going to experience?
If it is true that as Dave Mac says (likely as he said it) that it was decided weeks ago Warburton was going and weeks more since then, it suggests to me Warburton decided to go himself, as that far back our bad run would have only just got started. That knowledge spreading to the players could have been a big part of the reason the performances have been off their best since.
Come on Oz our performances have been dire for ages. Weeks ago I think suggests around the Barnsley and Peterborough games, they were never gonna sack him before the end of the season and pay him compensation.
Just hope if he is going they've got the replacement sorted, lose a few weeks at the end of the season rudderless and it will impact on next season...
That’s an odd little interview. Do Les/Hoos look the other way when they bump into him in the corridor? Do they just cough when he asks to discuss the squad for next year? Not a personality that I’ve warmed to, but he has definitely done his best for us, good time for him and us for him to move on.
Paul Hall is negotiating with Spurs to loam 3 players next season including their superstar u23 centre forward. Semi interesting news..
Where did you hear that Beth? Can anyone remember the last time we got a PL loan who was actually really good? Last I can remember off the top of my head is Kyle Walker.
This all feels a bit messy and unprofessional. Whatever your feelings Warbs has done pretty well for us and doesn't deserve to have it end like this. It's all quiet on the players who's contracts are expiring as well.
The 92....not as reliable as WLS I give you QPR U23s coach Paul Hall is reportedly talking with Spurs over some potential summer loan signings, with Troy Parrott, Harvey White and Kion Etete on his radar
