Why wouldn’t they keep it? Its a source of income from people who might not even go to a match. If they have any sense though they will increase season ticket sales which will make the memberships less useful for getting tickets.
Say they do scrap it, would every game just sell out from ST holders buying extra tickets? Don't they have to let a certain % go to general sale by law or something.
That is classed as general sale. I would also state they may start keeping a few thousand back for corporate partners etc as part of sponsorship deals.
Nah, I bought all the kits, have a kitchen full of SD mugs, never sang about his portly size and London roots, and supported the team and the regime @Hung,Drawn and Quartered Go seek him kidda, You can't ever claim to have not been there
I pretty much boycotted from when they got rid of Hughton even though he was doing well, i did return for a few under Rafa like, but non under Pardew or Bruce apart from the takeover game, and him being there did spoil it a bit.
I was up north for years, kept it on for the first few, then got pissed off at the expense every week for the crap being served up. Only moved back down here 18 months ago and knew what would happen if I never renewed at start of season. Was blatantly obvious takeover would happen to me. Once it went legal PL never had a chance. To be fair to them they delayed the **** out of it.
Don't think it'll be as busy as the Liverpool game, with it being Monday night on Sky. You should be fine

Evening everyone, I'm looking at getting a season ticket for me and my daughter, now that Ashley has done one I'm looking at getting up more from Manchester. Could anyone tell me where the family section is in the stadium? Also would I be better off paying the extra and getting different seats as the site is only coming up as Cat 1, 2 & 3. Cheers in advance.
Family section is in the upper tiers of the Milburn Stand towards the Leazes End. If you get a family enclosure season ticket the daughter will have to be present with you at all games including night time games. The good part of this is a family enclosure season ticket for both of you is cheaper than an adults ticket on its own.
I'll be able to get up to Toon with her most weekends, we will just end up missing games that are through the week and not in school hols. I'm aware that we can upgrade the kids ticket to an adult one up to 3 times a season. The price would be a massive reason we'd get one next season to be honest, she's started to get into it (6 year old who screams Bruno at any opportunity) so I want to be able to bring her up. I'll wait for the announcements from the club before I decide, don't think I'll be getting tickets next season without being a season ticket holder.
