For me it has to be Joelinton. There's no one else that's been consistent over the course of the entire season. Being good for half a season isn't enough. Joe has had one or two bad games but that's it. Can't think of anyone who's been as consistent over the whole season,
Joelinton! Looks every bit the £40m player these days, MOTM just about every game, inspires others, great attitude, and amazingly even performed when back as a striker last match. Bruno has been incredible, but Joelinton's put in a full season and deserves it. Fraser, Willock and Burn also deserving of honourable mentions.
I stand to be corrected but Joe hasn’t performed all season. He started putting performances together in about late October ( without checking back ) and before that was average to bad. That being said I would still have him as player of the season as the only real contender who has been here all season would be Max and whilst he was the player early on he has been very hit and miss since then. Best player is Bruno although Trippier may have been giving him a run for that one if he hadn’t been injured.
So just to be clear, you are saying the best player has been the one who started the season average to bad. Rather than the one who started as the best player. And rather than the one who IS our best player. Or the the one who might be even better than our best player. Right?
