Going back to Ell’s opening statement on Cresswell, I am convinced the the lad will be better that White and should play full time from next season.
When Marsch said Cresswell needs to play I took it to mean he needs to go out on loan. He’ll be a great player but no way is he ready to be first choice CB ahead of seasoned internationals. Plus Struijk is ahead of him too.
In a Bielsa side a little bit of crazy, like Llorente, is good. I think in a Marsch side more orthodox players will settle in better
Y Yes by Bielsa because he wanted another week off. Hexwas entitled by law and bielsa did not like it.
Just raided my old penny savings bank and cashed in green shield stamps. I am now relying on jesse wearing his lucky jeans and trainers and he better not have washed his lucky boxers. Klich needs to niggle at them because he enjoys that part of the game.not jessies boxers.
Cooper returning has had a positive effect but let’s judge if it’s working when we’ve played our next 4 not after we’ve played Watford, Southampton and Norwich
Begining to worry about Marsch, 3 CBs on ghe bench and a load of kids. James still up front whilst a fully fit Joffy sits on his arse
Too many kids on the bench? Who else is there? We have no midfielders and Koch and Struijk have played defensive midfield in the past. I'd pick either in front of Bate who still looks too young. Joffy was down to start a few games ago but was carrying a knock. We've been pretty good since so although a few might want Joffy to start, it's incredibly difficult to change a winning side with the rest periods we have enjoyed. FWIW I don't like James up front but with 10 points from 4 games it seems a bit daft to switch things up.
If he pulls it off to ight he gets my vote, but if you add Nohan Kenneh we have 4 CBs on the bench, we have Koch or Kenneh or Struijk who can play DM, its baffling
