Just back in - haven't seen anything other than our goals, but one of my Brighton pals who was at the game said -

You dominated 1st half up until 18 yards out where you ran out of ideas... 2nd half we were too deep which allowed your only real player to do what he does... Whilst his free kick was good, the goal from open play was a strike and a half.. how and why we didn't block it is another matter

If only their fans were as classy when they booed when play was stopped despite it being clearly obvious Tino was badly injured.

It might not have been 'clearly obvious' to those there. My mate was saying that everyone was pretty upset when they realised it was a serious one, and gave him a standing ovation as he left the field.

Happy with that draw, shame about Tino, hope he’s ok.

How was the CB pairing? Can’t really blame Sally for the OG, did well to get contact on the cross.

Why did he wait until 79m before bringing Broja on?

I'm sorry it just was. Tino's hand was in the air and players were waving towards the dugout to get help on. I'm not tarring all Brighton fans with the same brush but no excuse for the boos.

I know, I was there and it look me about half a second to realise Tino was in a lot of pain. Fair play, the fans did give him a standing ovation as he was stretchered off but the boos left a sour taste in my mouth.

Really good point especially being two down but read that statement - Chelsea, Arsenal, Burnley…. blimey whichever way you look at it, defensively we are all over the place.

Here's the second goal. That back heel by Oriol is pure filth:

Watched the whole match on Sky last night. The difference between first half and second half was quite remarkable. In fact one could be forgiven that we'd bought a new team during the break. Nice to see Bednarek giving Salisu a pat on the back for job well done during closing stages.

Not quite sure how the linesman failed to spot the foul there TBH. <laugh>

You mean the one by Caicedo on Cucurella of course.

Or the one where Che shoved Caicedo into Cucurella. It's not dominoes after all.

I know I've been giving Salisu a lot of stick recently (believe me I don't want to), but check out the own goal again from yesterday. It's not just that he puts the ball into his own goal - that's the excusable part - but the whole of his actions from the beginning of the attack. Watch the goal again. Look at his decision making to run twenty yards and launch himself into Wellbeck (slipping as he does so), who has passed the ball well before Salisu reaches him. Then he is too slow getting back, never fully recovers the ground he's lost, and that's why he is facing goal when the ball is put in.

He will be such a good defender if he just sticks to basic centre-back play. He lunges in far too much, far too high up the pitch.

Shoulder to shoulder yes, a shoulder barge no. That was a barge.
