I think the problem is that today's youngsters are second or third generation of players brought up to believe diving and cheating of any sort is a legitimate tactic. If we want to get rid of this, the game as a whole has to stop taking a tolerant view of it. Refs must make sure they keep punishing it. coaches must instruct their players to stay on their feet unless they can't, and just as importantly, pundits really must give up on this "he felt contact so he's entitled to go down" ****e.

He got a pen a few games ago which was super soft where was barely any contact - can’t remember what game it was. Already been booked at least twice this season for diving as well so needs to have a look at himself.
It was superb. Everton got what they deserved today, I understood the tactics but the play acting and diving was beyond and that smile and wink from Pickford got the very best of responses from Alisson with 3 points and a clean sheet. That's when you smile.
