    Now Dyche has gone they might actually turn into a half decent team

    Lampard defending his tactics and resorting to the "we was robbed" line is understandable I suppose, but if you play anti-football and get caught out then it's what you deserve.
    You're down in the **** for a reason, Frank.

    Wow. Does nobody at Everton explain to little gobshites like Gordon that admitting you dived isn't the best look.

    I felt pain.

    You threw yourself over under no contact at all.

    Amazing naivety.

    The Alan shearer school of raising kids. Someone needs to pull him aside ASAP and teach him a few hard truths about the big leagues before he talks himself and dives hismelf into a rep he won't get rid of.

    If everton actually supported him and that they'd have a chance.

    Lord knows mane is a bit of a flopper but nothing like this.

    He got a free off salah when he jumped into salah and fell over then handled it so he must have thought all he needed was to hit the dirt and he was getting frees all day.

    As long as they have Ashley Barnes playing for them, then no they won’t

    I think the problem is that today's youngsters are second or third generation of players brought up to believe diving and cheating of any sort is a legitimate tactic. If we want to get rid of this, the game as a whole has to stop taking a tolerant view of it.
    Refs must make sure they keep punishing it. coaches must instruct their players to stay on their feet unless they can't, and just as importantly, pundits really must give up on this "he felt contact so he's entitled to go down" ****e.

    Games to go:

    Burnley Points now 31
    Watford (Away)
    Aston Villa {Home}
    Tottenham (Away}
    Aston Villa (Away}
    Newcastle (Home)

    Everton: Points now 29

    Chelsea (Home}
    Leicester (Away)
    Watford (Away)
    Brentford (Home)
    Palace (Home)
    Arsenal (Away)

    Burnley can get 3 points from Villa game and possibly 3 from Watford game. Everton needs to win four games which I doubt

    What got me was the every time Thiago passed and a blue was close he got a late kick from min 1 .
    Gordon might get a pen if he didn't continually chuck himself to the ground every time someone was near him .

    He got a pen a few games ago which was super soft where was barely any contact - can’t remember what game it was.

    Already been booked at least twice this season for diving as well so needs to have a look at himself.

    I actually get frustrated with him for not doing it when we're trying to see a game out

    It was superb. Everton got what they deserved today, I understood the tactics but the play acting and diving was beyond and that smile and wink from Pickford got the very best of responses from Alisson with 3 points and a clean sheet. That's when you smile.

    I understand the approach, even if I don't agree with it. It's the referee at fault, he should have taken action for the persistent time wasting, dissent and kicking the ball away.

    I think everton could find themselves chasing Leeds here as those two games for burnely are easier than today's game that they won.

    Watford is an auto 3 points the way they are carrying on.

    Looking at those if you.gave everton every kindness you might say 38 points.

    Leeds are on 33 so need 2 wins. Palace tomorrow then city at home so I really really have hope for that Leeds game for us. At least there's something on the line for Leeds to actually try.

    Burnely could be on 37 very quickly here.

    I honestly think everton have gone from being 1 game from survival v butnely to now bring heavy favourites for the drop.

    Campbell is dead wrong. You cannot play like today with zero way to get a goal and expect that to work. They have 29 points. The thinking is all wrong wrong wrong.

    He was terrible. Plus points for not falling for Gordon's diving, but they were time wasting from the first few minutes and he should have been on it.

    When he waved at mane together up like he dived having been looking completely the other way he really summed himself up

    He didnone thing right which was book Gordan.

    The fact alisson could make a mockery of pickfords antics says it all. Everyone could see they were time wasting from the first 5mins.

    The sad thing for everton is gd really didn't matter. Once one went in they showed they had no plan b there. They created less at 0-1 then 0-0 and truth be told we were handed 83% possession without needing to work for it and we played quite poorly.

    We were there for the taking a little bit and their own negativity prevented it.

    I'd park two lines of 4 in their postion fair enough but would want Gordon and richarilson to push up and force vvd and matip back. They surrendered the entire half to us and so we could dick with it slowly all we liked.

    Once one went in they had nothing. That's the reality. Lose 0-4 as 0-1 imo if you need points you have to score one.

    There was a time when I would say similar. No longer though. Hope they plummet through the leagues.
