Eh? They looked much more likely to score than Spurs

We lack cohesion, ideas, effort and frankly some basic skills.
Conte also seems to lack ideas worryingly. Sess should have been subbed at HT.
How the living **** we can have been challenging for a CL place is a mystery.

    Bye bye season!

Nothing against spurs today, how are they meant to play against a team that gave no desire to score. Brentford had nothing except the odd free kick.

Be within 3 points of arsenal when we play them, all that matters.

We have Son and Kane… only reason I can think of. So when they (and in fairness Kulusevski since joining too) don’t turn up, we’re ****ed.

Got no midfielders and no WBs who can change a game and take it by the scruff off the neck… we used to have one, he was in red and white today :(

Conte needs to take responsibility for the two turgid performances.

Nuno and JM would have been and were slaughtered for these types of performances.

Top 4 has gone...we ain't getting anything from the Liverpool game so even IF we were to win the rest the goons need to drop 5 points in 5 games which ain't gonna happen.

Need to get EL football and the season over and done with and build for next season.

I really don’t think we were watching the same game.

Brentford were the better team, they hit the bar and post. Had more shots in general, more corners…

We just bottled it, as per whenever there’s any pressure on.

Spurs didn’t bottle it, they’re just not that good.

Will still get top 4 if they win the remaining games but I don’t see how they win them all judging by the last two games.

It's not bottling it. The system doesn't work without functional wingbacks.
Conte's married to his system and won't change it, even though it no longer works.

I think this is a (understandably) very emotional response to a bad result (and performance). You are only 2 points behind us with the same games played and there are 5 matches left, including the north London derby. It is very much all to play for. Nothing is sealed.

After the Southampton loss, I genuinely believed it was all over for us and that you'd walk to 4th with no challenge. I didn't expect us to get maximum points from Chelsea away and Man Utd home. Nor did I expect to be back in control of 4th. It just goes to show you unpredictable football is. There will be more twists and turns until the end.

4th isn't over yet by a long shot.

    It is bottling.

It was the same under Pochettino who played expansive football. Whenever there’s pressure to get something done, you can almost certainly bet we’ll fail the task.

Manager’s rarely change their system too, they just change/ upgrade personnel. Right now we don’t have the personnel. Pep and Klopp showed that, they didn’t have instant success but once they got their desired personnel the happier times came.

They had more attempts today that we did last week and this week COMBINED.
They had 2 attempts on target .. that's more than we had this week and last week COMBINED.

No idea how they they can be accused of anti football

Not in the slightest, Brighton had a plan to try and score. Brentford made it boring. As long as we’re within 3 points of arsenal when we play them then that’s all that matters.

Brentford change their game plan for this one game? Add it to the Chelsea match fixing list.

There we have it then !!!....
Arsenal supports watch their boys fight like young lions to secure all the points.
While Spurs fans watch the bunch of old Pussies get what they deserve again.

Pep has unlimited money and Klopp had years and won the Barca lottery.
Conte's not going to give us time and he's ****ing up now. They're his mistakes.

What the **** was that at the end of the match?
Sanchez on at left centre-half? Then Romero moved to right-back?
It was a mess and he didn't appear to know what the **** he was doing.

Where were those shots from? I can’t remember any proper ones. If Eriksen rolls it back to the keeper from one of the million free kicks that are apparently ‘in his range’ then does that count as a shot on target?

Arsenal were ****ing awful and got bailed out by the officials.
They got absolutely battered in the second half and should've lost the match.
If we'd have played like that then we'd have been slaughtered and the media would be going mental.

If we didn't have Liverpool away I might agree but that is a guaranteed loss...not only cos of how good they currently are but cos we have only managed 4 wins at Anfield since the Titanic sank in 1912!
