The dream is over, guys. We've done quite well this season have been held back by injuries (and some bad refereeing at times).
Well that’s the end of play offs & was never really on with last 5 games, so only thing left now is is he staying or going
I don't think we've deserved to lose today but our passing has been so casual and sloppy and some players, Sanderson in particular, played like there was nothing riding on this game.
Well, that’s saved me a trip on Friday, I don’t enjoy nothing to play for last game of the season affairs. Damp squib ending to the season.
We were better after the substitutions We were **** before them Being slightly better than **** isn't much of an improvement Four in the morning Good night
Looking at the stats there are very few teams who would give a manager a new contract but 75% on here think we should. Will be interesting to see what happens.
Not sure why we didn't go for it more with nothing to lose but there you go...we looked devoid of energy and ideas but I suppose injuries haven't helped either. Not getting in front of defenders to hold up the play is really basic stuff though...what's also disappointing is in a crap season where 40 pts is likely to be enough to stay up and Luton probably making the play offs, we might have missed a trick
Been on the train all day heading south...seems I didn't miss much. Such a disappointing end to the season...or last third of the season.
Typical bloody Rangers...... give you hope and then a damp squib of a performance by the sounds of it, not that I saw any of it as doing other things....... Time for vino.......
Dont know why you single out Sanderson? He did well defensively. He's just not the attacking back like Moses, Albert or Kakay we needed go give us attacking width today, especially when we had to win. MaCallum got forward more but his crossing was poor.
Would've helped if dopey had picked the right 11 to start the game, seriously that was another piss poor performance. Without Westwood we could've been 4 down at half time. There's just no energy in the team, when you have to win and you play as lazily and sloppily as that then something is clearly wrong.
Reluctantly I have to agree with you Hammersmith.I have been a big supporter of Warbs since he arrived (and i don't want o be seen piling on) but it seems clear that he has lost the dressing room and lacks the ability, at least right now, to motivate the team. Which should not have been hard seeing what was at stake today. I like the guy and don't know who is available that might be good as a replacement
Spot on,if you need a win you go for it..I'd rather lose 3-0 than play with zero urgency. Most on here want MB to stay but I think we need a new coach to put some enthusiasm and fresh ideas into the players that remain..bet the post match interview is the same old spiel..
The team has lost faith in itself....is more the case There is no leader....no one scoring the goals, against the odds. No lucky breaks. No ref decisions that change matches in our favour Huge injury list.....certain players playing with constant niggles..adomeh, johannsen, Wallace, mccallum Yes Warburton should be motivating them...but at this stage they see the finish line and they " know" they can't get there.. And if they do they meet teams they know will give them a spanking. So retrospectively I am not blaming Warburton now...but he should have sorted this out earlier..
Hes just admitted it was crap on post match. 3 wins out of 18 isn't it now?.....relegation form and I can't see it changing next year. The injury thing is an excuse. We have like for like players coming in apart from Willock of course, the rest on recent form are easily replaced imo. He isn't motivating the team and the loss of form of too many of our players over the last few weeks is quite alarming. People saying we are an average team.....we aren't that good!.....but we were a very good, exciting team until Jan and that is why he has to go end of season or now
Total lack of anything in that game. It was so lethargic and very dissapointing. I would be fuming as a manager with the lack of effort shown today.
