With Cambridge resting 7 players, prior to this match, it's hard to know what game they're playing.

If it was to prepare for this game I'd have to say it stinks and the EFL should be asking questions.

Surely they'd do the same if Morecambe are safe and make 7 changes when we go there.

And, if that's what the manager has actually done I'd be disgusted as a Cambridge supporter, particularly as SC holder.

There was 5000 who paid to see them play the reserves, lose 2-0 and have one attempt on goal ...

    ... I doubt they'll have 500 there on Saturday.

So, it seems, the manager would prefer to massage his own ego at Sunderland than entertain the supporters and sponsors at home.

I hope we smash them all over the SOL and send them back to their own little world with a humiliating defeat.

    5-0 (Based entirely on spite.)

    Haway the Lads!!!

3-1 to the Lads. I don't think it will be an easy game but I think we will have too much for them. I'd like to see him freshen it up a bit if possible, maybe Roberts in for Clarke and a change to a back 4. Great thread as usual RTB.

Great post as usual RTB., I like your team especially a back four with Matete and Evans central, whoever plays in those last four slots, with our powerful bench itching to get on , this squad should be strong enough to send us back into the top 6. Its not going to be an easy ride, its going to be a fight, but its one we can and should win OaU.

I reckon we must put our best foot forward to win all our remaining games (including playoffs). Square pegs in Square holes!

This translates for me in putting Winchester and Cirkin in as RB &LB.
Having 2 specialised CBs as CBs.

Evans & Matate in front of a back 4

Stewart and Broadhead up front. One needs crosses (therefore a winger to supply them). Broadhead likes the ball at his feet so if Pritchard is fit, he starts or perhaps Neil if not.

The opposition can do what it likes, we play our game and beat them.

Then you have nobody players coming out saying they're sick of hearing Sunderland fans bang on about being a big club, too big for this league etc...

But here is a team that it seems have rested 7 players so they can put on a show on their day out yo the biggest stadium in the league!

I honestly don't know any Sunderland fans that aren't too embarrassed by our extended stay in this league to go on about club size like its some divine right to get promoted. Its other teams and players that can't get over it. Like this week and the mention of us buying a player for 600k.

Thank you for the time spent making another great thread RTB if we truly want a playoff place we must win this one, So i hope whichever plan we have works, i would like a convincing win like 4-0 to the lads, but would be happy with an own goal, penna or a wonder strike any bloody goal so long as it's a win.

Said on here a couple of games ago it's all about the three points now, good performances are a bonus we just need to win.
I trust the manager to pick the right team and I trust the players to get the job done by any means whatsoever.

a bit of skullduggery and downright cheating, like the other teams get away with playing us wouldn't go amiss.I dont think im too biased towards us or have rose tinted specks, what i do see is a lot of diving, feigning injury, time wasting and other underhanded cheating going on against us with no ref intervention, even with the ball out of play like the last match nothing was given, blind bastards:emoticon-0121-angry

Perfect strike, right in the top corner, keeper nee chance, the way the ball rolls round the side netting to the back of the goal and right in front of the away fans. I'd have been buzzing for weeks.

I'm in a bit of a pickle guys any advice willingly received. I tested positive on Monday and had a mild fever the only symptom I had. I now feel fine and have no fever however going by the government's guidance Saturday will be day 5 so I shouldn't technically be going out till Sunday. Should I stay away or go?

    HA'WAY THE LADS MACKEMS ATTACKEM

I'd actually like to see Stewart rested for this one at the start at least.
The lad looks spent and hardly surprising having started I think every game this season.
Tough one as we don't have much options up front.
Could even give Gooch a run out with Broadhead.
If Stewart gets injured now, that scenario unfolds for the remaining games including any play off ones.

Tough call for Alex Niel, he's done a good job up to now but how many times have we seen injuries become our undoing ?
Especially in areas where we are light.

The advice i had is 5 days after the positive test, take two more tests on consecutive days, if negative you are clear to get out and about.

    Flow test ?
Do one every day up to the match.
They don't really care anymore anyway mate, it's old news.
They accomplished the divide and conquer initiative amongst the vaccinated and none ;)

Have a party first and invite MP's and you'll be fine :emoticon-0148-yes:

But no, there's no longer a requirement too, vaccinated or not

I did think do a test Saturday morning and go off that but apparently you can test positive for weeks or even months afterwards so will probably be futile.
