A veritable triumvirate of goodness today.

Not only is our beloved Queen (Gord bless 'er) celebrating her birthday but it is also National Tea Day today, Great Britain's national drink.

To top it off it is glorious day here in Aberdoom, 22℃ already and rising.

What a glorious country indeed.

Favourite tea brand or flavour?

Do you dip your bag in the water before spilling the white stuff into the gaping cup?

A stain of corruption haunts Pope Francis.

At the heart of the mega-trial is a paper trail that shows millions in charitable donations from the faithful, held in a fund known since the eighth century as Peter’s Pence, were funnelled into speculative commercial investments, including the acquisition of a £200m London property, 60 Sloane Avenue, in Knightsbridge.

Among the extraordinary cast of characters charged along with the cardinal are Gianluigi Torzi, the broker who bought the London building for the Vatican then demanded a huge payment to hand over the keys, and fund manager Enrico Crasso, who used church money to finance Hollywood films, including the Elton John biopic Rocketman – not to mention a highway in North Carolina that turned out not to exist.

Corrupt as **** the ****s.

I have Assam and Earl Grey, variety is etc.

Assam when you fancy a bit of the brown?

I have some rather nice Ceylon Highlands Pekoe currently, some Darjeeling, a tin of Breakfast Blend, some Chinese Gunpowder green tea, and some Japanese Sencha that looks like grass cuttings and tastes very fresh. That does make me sound like a massive poove tbf, but not enough of a poove to drink Earl Grey.

Birthday's seem to come in pairs , it was Adolf Hitler's Birthday yesterday 20 April :emoticon-0166-cake: another bossy German.

She has good taste spending the week at Sandringham Norfolk

I hope they change the name from Ceylon to Sri Lanka, the bastards! In fact, I might type a strongly worded email to show my displeasure.
