i don’t find it depressing fella - it’s you who finds it depressing… that was the point. I understand the thrill of the chase stuff of escaping a lower league… I’ve had the misfortune of watching x-factor (under duress… honest) so I fully understand that life is all about ‘the journey’. but I’ve seen my football team spend 15 years in the championship and frankly I’ll take premiership mediocrity any day
Billionaire owners are not necessarily the answer. We could well get one eventually but if everyone else has one and ours happens to be the least richest of them all it leaves us exactly where we are now - competing against richer clubs. So really the only way forward for a club like Leeds is through great coaching and scouting, and unless you fluke a season like Leicester did, that’ll take a few years.

looks about right. Big game for Everton tomorrow - Leicester are a soft touch but if Everton don’t win that they’ll be looking over their shoulders again… as Burnley have plenty of potential points - which they may or may not take. Our fixtures are nasty and I still think we need another win. I’m not entirely sure where it’s coming from .. next Monday at palace hopefully.
Rich every player we’ve bought you have moaned about. Firpo, Rodrigo. Llorente, Koch. You take no account of settling into a new country, the amount of i juries and illness each has had to cope with. Yes would love them to have been injury free and not had covid once or twice. Instead of moaning lets see what plans Marsch has because he would surely offload anyone who doesnt fit his plans. Just wait a few weeks and see what happens and then moan if he doesnt do what you want him to do
We can do city they are running out of steam. We are rested and just have palace. Take a look at the city games they will be knackered by the time we play them.

Like I said though, I’m not complaining about an upcoming transfer window. Yes I’ve complained about transfers when they’ve had time to show us what they can or can’t do. I was defending Rodrigo at the end of last season openly saying numerous times I think next season (this one) will be his time to shine, I was wrong. I know some are getting excited that he’s played better against Norwich, Watford and Southampton but I’m not as easily impressed against inferior opponents or the fact the previous 20 games he’s been dire. Llorente and Rodrigo are half a dozen games short of two seasons, I think that’s more than enough time to settle in. Firpo I don’t need any further time to see Firpo is next to useless, Augustin more spunked money, Dan James I was one of a very few who was pleased we’d signed him but he’s disappointed. Koch I’ve not said I’m disappointed in his signing? I’ve said he’s not a DM player and he can’t play that role, that’s nothing like complaining we’d signed him. Question - Do you think Radz money has been spent wisely since promotion?
