Once upon a time it was "we all dream of a team.of Carraghers" but nowadays I wonder if Carragher would even get in our team.

Maybe he could partner VVD but I don't think Klopp would play him due to his poor passing skills. It makes me wonder what other former legends probably wouldn't make it in this team.

Gerrard and Alonso would have fit Klopp's style of play and Suarez would have worked well too. I think Torres would have struggled in Klopp's team though he didn't have the pressing skills or overall work rate.

Coutinho buggered off before he could experience Klopp's glory years, but he's another player who was an absolute miracle worker for us, but I don't think he would have fit Klopp's design. He would go missing far too often for long spells with lesser work rate.

Controversial thought but... I think Dirk Kuyt would have been a legend under Klopp's leadership. Kuyt was a Klopp style player before Klopp came to British Shores.

Dirk Kuyt, balon D'Or winner has a ring to it.

Carragher wouldn't get picked because of his lack of pace. Everything else was fine.

Torres worked very hard and pressed from the front when he first arrived. Then he stopped smiling.

Kuyt and Bibby are very similar. Klopp loves Bobby so would probably love Kuyt.

The work rate of every current, regular first team player is outstanding. We all dream of a team of Mo Salahs scans and rhymes nicely.

Yes gerrard, alonso, kuyt. they are for sure 100% klopp players.

Maybe not mascherano but then again maybe.

Deffo no carragher. a short nat phillips. soz.

finnan would have got a lot more respect from klopp than he did from rafa TBH.

Reina would have fitted in well too.

Suarez is the perfect F9 in a Klopp system - he's basically Bobby but on steroids. Torres would have also been class but Suarez is better suited to Klopp ball.

Gerrard would be the perfect RCM - imagine him next to Thiago and Fab. That midfield would be complete.

Alonso and Mascherano would also get into this team.

Kuyt would also get in because Klopp loves a hard worker grafter with minimal ability (look at Milner and Henderson).
