Where do I start mate, other than to say, life has it's ups and downs.
When I went AWOL, I'd been ill for some months, culminating in retiring at 60 due to Heart Failure and Stage 4 CKD. Tip of the iceberg that eventually screwed the old body up. On the plus side my Pension was paid up until I would be 67. Anyway, it's amazing what de-stressing and Heart meds can do, and I can honestly say, up until 3 weeks ago my recovery was going really well. It was the best I've been for years, Dorty will tell you how well I looked.

Then boom, I acquired Covid, it didn't appear to be a problem, but then I got severe diarrhoea.
By Thursday morning I was haemoraging blood out my Anus. So Im now holed up at Gateshead QE, had two blood transfusions with 4 pints of the red stuff, plus other drips. Time will tell if there is any permanent damage, especially to the kidneys and bowel, but, I'm steadily improving and looking forward to a camera up my arse in the next few days. I was somewhat bored yesterday, so thought I'd cheer myself up a bit. Apparently I have a Ghostly colour and blend in quite well with the white walls.

Other that that I'm doing ok, HEARING is still going well unlike Trevs.
Sorry to read some of this…

because I’m having my tea!!!!

<grr>

Seriously, trust you’ll get well so that Chippy gets the chance to kill you off walking up Mount Earl to buy him a drink or three.

Cheers mate.

Yes Mount Earl, where I used to struggle, but, until this latest escapade, I'd literally fly up.
Unfortuntely, the way I was last summer, I didn't really have a choice, so I made the decision to give up the ST. Multiple surgeries, seen off countless dickheads on and off the pitch, and being a soft ****e I finally sucombed.

Hopefully, I'll go back one day....

Blah, blah, blah, you stupid old twat.
Remember no more sock accounts - so you're banned forthwith.

glad to hear you are on the mend mate. Hope this latest setback is just a short blip for you. Thinking of you bud.

we will catch up for a beer soon (my round). We can make it raffertys to avoid the hill if needs be.

please also let me know all about the camera up the arse. What lube was used, how you liked it etc… I once tried a Kodak with no lube and there was a slight anal tear. Should have gone for the smaller Fuji.

No worries. I had the camera down my throat on Thursday, lots of gurgling and ****.
How any ****er likes a cock in their mouth, has got me beat.
Regards the rear end, should I remain awake I will provide a full account of my experience.

Wanted to like your post but didn't think that was appropriate. Chaos has asked if you can post the video on here when you have it.

Hope you recover quickly.

Reactions: Heed
Fingers crossed as Gateshead inch towards promotion to the National League.
Back on top with five to go.
A few miles down the road, the Mackems continue to struggle to get oot of the Turd Division.
Should it come to pass or not time will tell, but if Gateshead are promoted and the Mackems aren't, there would only be the 4th Division seperating the two clubs.
Maybe a Tyne and Wear Derby is closer than you think. How many would The Heed win by. Has the gap between Newcastle and Sunderland ever been greater? The Turd Division must be the hardest in the UK to win, and only a club as embarrassing as the Mackems could make such a pigs ear of it, not once, or twice but on multiple occasions.
The Glow remains strong....
Happy Easter

I really hope the Heed get promoted like…great for the area and even more ammo to throw at them scruffy ****ers down the road. I could never have imagined a world where Gateshead were closer in league positions to the mackems than we were…yet here we are! It could very well happen!

Unfathomable how the scruffy bastards could screw it up so much.
Imagine the 24/25 fixture list for the 4th Division, triple headers for Gateshead, Hartlepool and the minnows from down the road. Stranger things happen.
