So. Our record v top half/half decent teams is now a firm pattern We simply cannot stop conceding goals. 3-2 today. 3-3 midweek 2-2 last weekend. We need to score 3 goals min v utd. Simple as. The issues I have is players like mane actually stopping counter attacks and hogging ball or my personal gripe. Robertson putting the ball into the middle of the park on clearances or hoofs. Robbo seems prone to blind passes into the middle or very poor clearances that drop right on a cm to drive straight at us. It's unreal how many attacks he sets up for the opponent. Eventually we will get caught out on this conceding goals. The bottom half sides are destroyed but we need to just find a bit more solidity against better sides and imo it starts with the decisions we make when countering (to kill game not miss) and to not play the ball into the middle when clearing. I'd rather hit the stand and scrap than aimlessly give the opponent the ball with the full park to play in.

In fairness, the biggest concern for me is that Mo has lost his Mojo big style since AFCON - and he still won't pass the ball when he has the merest sniff of goal.
But mane has picked up nicely. Salah and trent were average today. Trents passing was poor and salah while he did.some good things was a long way off the level he had been. The important thing is to just get through here. A good win by a 3 goals margin applies real pressure to city as the games run out to level that gd.
