Did Fat Sham not fail in his last relegation rodeo?

Aye, he took WBA down. He's managed six clubs after he was here. But Burnley will love the idea of FS riding into town - he achieved so much at one of their closest rivals.

He is essentially a worse version of Sean Dyche. I don’t know why they think he will make any difference.

I think Burnley have a squad that fat Sam can work with. I hope he keeps Burnley up at Evertons expense.

Foolish people do strange things under pressure. If true, they may well see the benefit of hiring Fireman Sam as opposed to a chocolate fireguard. Burnley fans should just be grateful that Mr Bruce is still employed.

If Burnley stay up they'll have made a brilliant decision.

I can't see Sam taking this job. He already has a relegation on his CV after the disaster with WBA. He doesn't need it at this stage in his life. Obviously money talks though and we all know he is a greedy **** so ya never know.

He'll see the last game as an opportunity.

I keep saying it but Burnley have the easiest run in by miles

No idea they still have to win games but if they get a change of manager bounce then people will have egg on their faces.

Watford also have a decent enough run in... If they win the 6 pointers it'll be game on for Everton big time

They're 2 results from relative safety now but at the same time 2 results away from a disasterous position

Say it was a bad decision then. People have gone all in and they might be wrong.

We can only guess at this stage but for me the choice of manager is important. Fat Sam IMO won’t make the difference as the players know he won’t be there next season anyway. Only a manager who will be there next season has a chance of changing Burnley’s results for better than what they were going to be anyway.

I think Burnley have a good enough run in for any appointment to get a few results from.. I think Dyche would've too though.

I personally think that squad and Sam go together like a horse and carriage.

We'll see but if Burnley get 2 or 3 points from the next 2 and Everton lose everyone will see they've still got a decent chance to stay up.

Tbf it’s also set up for Rafa as well. Any defensive manager would do well there
