Just got back. Awful, lethargic showing by the boys. Could have won it …. Should have lost it …. Oh well, no late Play Off place for us. Off on Sunday to get some sun (at last). Should have been Barbados on Monday, but kicked that into touch for a while, and instead taking our daughter and grandson to Adeje.
Watched the game via the Anthony and Trunds show.....the latter disappointed with our lack of effort in front of goal especially before we went behind...it seemed a lethargic performance generally by a team with nothing to play for which we really haven’t....good goal from Ntcham pity we didn’t get a winner....and I am still not happy with Fisher in goal....happy Easter
Very lethargic performance, Barnsley showing far more intent when they broke and wasted some good chances. Patio does seem a bit selfish at time and doesn't play the through ball but tried to go on his own. Let's hope for better on Monday. Have a great break Taff.
New deal for Pato: Per the Beeb: “Russell Martin expects Jamie Paterson to be offered a new Swansea City contract at the end of the season. Paterson, 30, had a spell in first-team exile midway through this season because he was unhappy with his contract situation. But Swansea head coach Martin says the forward deserves a fresh deal. "That's already been discussed. I would hope that will get sorted fairly quickly after the end of the season," Martin said. Paterson has been playing lately as a left-sided wing-back in Martin's formation and impressed again in Friday's 1-1 draw at home to Barnsley.” Not sure which game they were watching ……
