Hopefully Doherty was just a dead leg as he has become an important player for us. I never thought I would say that!! And Royal had a good game today he was solid and good going forwards. I still think we could strengthen in that area but we do have some good options now. Reguilon and Sessegnon would get into most premier league teams bar the top 3. I would love Eriksen back as him with that front 3 has then potential to be awesome
I think he's a very solid RB in general, just perhaps not really a RWB or a "Conte-RWB" anyway. He's more Corluka than Walker if you get what I mean. Been linked with Atleti a fair bit lately and that'd be an excellent move for him if it happens, especially if Conte pursues a new RWB in the summer which I think is likely. He's too good to be a third choice option here and if we can recoup or even profit on what we paid in the summer whilst bringing in a player more suited to Conte's needs, it'd suit all parties I think.
My family come from Trinidad so I grew up eating Saltfish. I'm 55 yrs old and I have never experienced anything as salty as Souness crying after the game on Sky.... "But What MORE could Villa had done...they deserved to win for their first half performance." Yeah .... errrrrr.... was unfair of our Keeper to do his job and make saves and how dare we score 4 goals...
As a side note I love how Mason is a key part of the coaching team...he is obviously close to Conte cos Conte regularly celebrates goals with him. Mason is going to learn so much from Conte
I cannot fathom how some Spurs fans can watch Kulusevski and still come to the conclusion that Lo Celso just needs more time. Mind boggling.
Getting Dele, Lo Celso & Ndombele out and Kulusevski & Bentancur in has turned out quite well. Long may the good business continue
