I sit by the away fans and they were actually OK today. A bit quiet until the second goal but all songs were supporting their team rather than having a dig at our predicament. No ‘fire drill’, ‘library’ or ‘going down’ songs from them all afternoon.

Hernandez going off with an injury and Sarr staying on cost us any chance of even a point today

As someone who rang in after the game said Sarr should never ever pull on a Watford shirt again and if someone offers £100 take it and get him off our books

He missed two absolute.sitters and just did not appear interested throughout the game

He will go to Newcastle or Palace for £20k in the summer

We need young legs in midfield

I think the time has come for Woy to say I have trained you how to play my way so just go out and enjoy a game of football doing just that and forget about the result.

I thought we did attack in this game - moe than in others.

    Not saying much I know!

Just not very well in terms of creating clear opening once again.

Sarr had one big chance and blew it.

Our passing was awful - what do these highly paid highly trained FOOTballers do each week.

I mean fine they might not have the ability to compete or the skill set but surely should be able to kick with 2 feet and pass a ball?

I think the problem with their passing is that they all think they have the skill to play for Barcelona but actually only have the skill to play for Blackpool.

Agree about the passing Mark. Our standard was comparable with the French National League that I watch. Easy from my armchair I know, but much of the misplaced passes stem from midfield. Chalobah used to get a lot of stick, but he could pass the ball five yards to a Watford player, as could Hughes. The players available this season are just not as good as ones from the recent past.

Even last season we were guilty of losing possession frequently, last season we could gloss over it with our offensive play. We have gone from the best home record last season in all four leagues to the worst in the Premiership this season under three coaches. We do not have Premiership quality midfield/defense and are being found out.
On a different note, I thought Pedro played too deep yesterday making it easy for weeds and nullifying his threat.

He seems to get pushed into a midfield role a lot.

Don’t know if that is because he has good work rate ?

But tries to beat one too many players.

Hughes was the player I most wanted to keep into this season. His workrate, breaking up play and creating, was invaluable. Big mistake letting him go.
