Love seeing those bastard smoggies cry.

Always great to win a hugely passionate Humber-Tees derby.

We defended well but winning was a definite bonus.

Quite impressed with the young lad upfront, he put a real shift in. Didn't get too many chances but there's a player there, definitely.

KLP can file that goal under 'if you don't buy a ticket you can't win the lottery'.

    Happy days. We're safe now.

Having seen the goal on Twitter, he’s hit it perfectly, the defender is in the line of the keeper’s view & KLP has hit it, the keeper has seen it way too late. Basically bad keeper mistake, but great timing from KLP!
Can’t say anything about the rest of the game as I was out for the Mrs’ Birthday lunch!
In hindsight, it would actually have been cheaper to go to Middlesbrough on the train, buy a ticket, drink lots of beer, go get something to eat, then drink for the rest of the night in Manchester!
    But I didn’t!

Given our record at Boro, that feels like the best win of the season. Unbelievable difference between away (unbeaten in 6 and conceded one goal) and home (lost 6 and scored 1 goal!). The 3-5-2 has clearly worked a treat away but If the manager ultimately wants to play 4-3-3, maybe he should start with that for the rest of the season. Even I think we might be safe now!

Funniest part of the game was when they scored and ruled offside.

Followed closely by their claim for a penalty being turned down.

First win away at Boro since 1986.

Won't have had many more comfortable afternoons than today and that's credit to the outfield players working their socks 9ff. Can only remember one proper save he had to make right near the end
