    Tell you what, the performance in the main was poor. We played some pretty negative stuff and I would normally be pretty critical of that style of play. But how can you be when we keep getting late goals to win. The lads never stop. We have some momentum now.

    There is an old saying - better to be a lucky manager than a good one. I think Alex is riding his luck a bit at the minute, but so be it. I thought he got his team wrong today (their goal is unlikely to have happened with Baath in) and I thought his subs werent right. But he gets the 3 points and that is that really matters I know. Tonight my Jaipur is going to tast extra nice.

    Me too. Have to say I’ve seen him in that position few times and he is very good. Great 1v1 finisher.

    Thought we struggled at times but looked ok at others. Once we scored we should’ve gone and got another soon after with the chances we had. Great win. As I’ve said all season, performance is secondary. Results are all that matters

    I think it was pretty even all in all. We had spells and they had spells. Neither team were outstanding but Clarke was poor in that role and made it easy fir them to plant the ball to the left winger and let him cross. They didn’t play sparkling football. And I think we had probably more clear chances than them. As Danny C just said!! Was a poor game where neither team played well. We just took our important chance
