Yeah I’ve often thought / wondered. The passion has to be the underlying drive. Trouble is £ & fame screw it up (sometimes).
For me that’s a dive not a foul. Wood absolutely chose for contact to be made and to go down…. The ball is as maybe even out of play by the time contact was made. If the rules do indeed have that as a foul it’s “clever” by Wood…!I wonder how much practice it takes to learn how to run full speed then leave one leg dangling behind like that.
Amazing piece in The Times today - Pep has been watching videos of Saints playing against Liverpool to prepare for the game tomorrow. He loves the way we press and play and was looking for ideas of how to counter Liverpool.
I can see Everton fcuking it up still. They will get complacent and believe the job is done! Come on Burnley.
I would suggest that next weekend at home to Brentford is Watford's last chance. Six points adrift, with a much weaker GD, having played one game more, and with just seven left to play already looks very bleak for them. But slipping up next weekend would have to be the final nail in the coffin. Therefore, given that this is Watford we're talking about, will Roy be in the dugout for it?
