All scran isn't the same as years gone by. Fish batter isn't very crispy anymore, just hard on the top with a load of mushy batter.

 

That brings back some memories, I'd forgotten all about them.
Dont know if it was because it was a sea water pool but I was always hungry when I came out of there, or maybe it was just the smell as you walked past that strategically placed hut
