Had a fun EW patent tomorrow on

    Speech Bubble 6/1 1:45
    Spiritofthegames 16/1 4:05
    Whizz Kid 5/1 5:15

Price on Whizz Kid has gone into meltdown since I struck my bet.

The amateur and conditionals race caught my eye. Took a deeper look at the past races -

5 winners from 32 runners that were ridden by a jockey that wasn’t claiming. A much stronger percentage than any other claim.

it has also been won by horses who ran at the Cheltenham festival more times than any other track lto.

Faivoir is a bet for me, with Washington very tempting. The price on Faivoir seems to have vanished too.

Friday's Aintree card is certainly a very difficult one. but what the heck, here goes:

    16:05 Aintree - Senior Citizen
(Third in this race last year. Adrian Heskin on board for the Alan King yard)

    17:15 Aintree - Washington
(Bumper winner who has taken to Hurdling well. Decent chance on form. Fergus Gregory takes the ride for the Olly Murphy stable)

Win on each and e/w double

Have a good day folks! :emoticon-0167-beer:

Pretty much favourites for me today. Don't like doing it but nothing of much interest lurking at the prices. Left the 2:55 alone and gone against the favourite in the last with Severance but the other races it's favourites day.

In the opener at Aintree owner Tim Leslie has 2 nice looking chances. Hughsie rides Mackenberg (winner of 3 consecutive chases and now rated 140 in that sphere but goes off his hurdles mark of 130 here) whilst Theo Gillard takes 3lb off the back of Navajo Pass, who continues to tumble down the ratings and is fitted with a first-time tongue tie. I can see both being involved at the business end and with most firms going 5 (some even 6) places they are certainly interesting e/w plays.

How good must Constitution Hill be? Jonbon and the totally unexposed El Fabiolo pull miles clear of their field

Sceau Royal is a big old price here. Amazingly its the first time beyond the bare 2 miles but if he gets the extra distance he has to be a danger to all.
