Both the Yanks and the Russians (and the East Germans) were nearly as bad as each other for doping. They did it to get one over the other, for political reasons. And to feed their own national egos they'd both look the other way to their own cheating. That said the American "win at all costs, you have to want it more than anyone else, no time for losers" attitude probably means there's a few more there who are susceptible to being brought round to cheating, especially if they see massive financial rewards for winning.
Doubt I'd of bothered with either of em. The one in the middle maybe. The one on the right I'd pay to do me garden and I'd of chinned the bloke on the left.
Good on the UCI to step in and stop British cycling. This weekend would have been interesting otherwise.
I don't know how often they have these competitions ... .... but they shouldn't be permitted unless they have a monthly cycle
Tories really going for it today. All coming out with common and scientific sense about trans and woman rights in sports. Labour need to sort it out otherwise going to put them at a massive disadvantage.
Mostly agree ie in relation to sport, and about Labours clarity but it’s dangerous if this government are seeing intolerance as a chance to resurrect their score in the polls. We’ve already seen their hateful attitude to migrants because they think it’s popular with voters. We don’t need them to any more inhuman.
So I was at Sheffield for the last couple of days as Miss Yellowbelly was competing at British Champs...as ever at these type of events there was a shop selling swimming related merch... I didn`t think it appropriate to lift the top up to check whether these models were boys or girls. I initially thought that as the one in the black seems to be wearing high heels she must be a female swimmer...I`m less sure now
She did herself proud mate thanks - 3 events, 3 personal best times and made the “Paris Pathway” final in one of them…she’d have done better but her cock kept falling out on the turns…
Just thought this was worth posting for a different perspective. In this context it seems less complicated ie in participative sport. Must be tough like being born that person
