Well after a couple of weeks of terrible returns I decided to share my "lack" of wisdom, which to be honest has yet to get any better results, in the "Saturday Treble". So I am going for broke and tellng all regarding my plan to get "Not Very" Rich. This may take time but please be patient:- 99.9% of bets made are for £1 only Per Week total cost of bets (not including midweek games) £15 I Always bet the following:- CORRECT SCORE (draw) For whatever Team the Gills are playing:- 0-0 1-1 2-2 Total cost of bet £3, if we draw and neither team score more than 3 I'll win something CORRECT SCORE 1-0 2-0 2-1 Total cost of bet £3, if we win and don't score more than 3 I'll win something SCORECAST Always do first goalscorer and correct score(I have won this one, but only the once) Example:- Gills 1 Herefod 0 (Kedwell too score first) good odd if it comes in!!!! £1 bet. PATENT This is where the treble comes in, Pick three games and correct score results,(I always stick to the Gills division) hard to explain, pick three results(correct score), bet on each one, plus the double(s) plus the treble. Total cost is £7 (based on £1 bets) And my final bet . to complete the £15 is from advice from our moderator A treble result only bet on the Result above. Thank you mr BRB!!!
James - it is always easier to bet on your own league, because you will have a better insight into the teams, unless you only go for televised games, just make sure you check history and current form though. Good Luck
James, look at it this way, taking tomorrows game into account. Gills to win (any score) 2-1. To draw(any score) 9-4. To predict correct score 1-0 = 9-1 2-0 = 14-1 2-1 = 10-1 0-0 = 10-1 1-1 = 11-2 2-2 = 12-1 You are laying out £6 in £1 bets. The most you could win is on a 2-0 win which would be £15 minus the rest of your layout money (because no other bet could then win) = 15 -5 =£10. The least you would win is if we drew 1-1 at 11-2 which would pay £6.50 -minus the other losing bets money =£ 1.50. If you laid out the same amount of money i.e £3 per bet on Gills to win (any score) that would return £9 minus the losing bet money of £3 = £6. Any draw using same formula would return £6.50. When you condider how difficult it is to predict a correct score I would suggest betting on a straight Gills win or draw, because any score in those bets will give you £6 or £6.50 return
A wise man once told me, NEVER bet on your own team. I've won far more when not including Gills in accumulators and the like. And to second vinneys idea, much better chance of getting a reasonable return.
Keep your hard earned cash in your pocket. Why do you think you never see a bookmaker getting the bus to work.
Some good points raised in regards to the Gills, I tend to find generally it is better not to bet on your own team. Scoreline bets will not get you any where, well not unless your planning on betting on 1-0 Gills wins during the whole of the season, that probably is a cert for at least five games during the season, then that just leaves you with another 41 loses!
