I agree with all you have said. Just wondered why you detest him? Is it purely due to the fact he plays for spurs? He seems like a model pro and he seems very well liked and respected by all the england players including the arsenal ones. I don’t like Arsenal but I can’t think of any current players that I detest!
Yeah, it’s nothing to do with him as a person, it’s just because he’s a Spurs player and scores against us a lot. It’s petty I know! By default, I dislike all your players.
Which we still haven't learned from and are continuing to run him into the ground. England and Spurs seem to think that he has to play virtually every minute of every game. Hardly surprising when he ends up injured towards the end of a variety of seasons.
Perhaps with stats peer matching/bettering Henry, Kane is a painful reminder of a past Goon era with an excellent forward + excellent on-pitch success.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Premier_League_Player_of_the_Month#Multiple_winners He's joint top with Aguero. Players on 3 include Robbie Keane, Bale, Son, van Nistelrooy, Mane and... Peter Odemwingie?
1. He won't go one better. < rcl > 2. If he won 10, that would effectively be a whole seasons' worth.
The man deserves two wage packets one for being a striker and one for being Pirlo amazing passing range
I think his main skill is seeing which player is in a big space. Very few of his passes yesterday had to be brilliantly accurate because he had plenty of margin for error.
We're now into solo passmaps, as here's Harry Kane's from yesterday's gutting of Geordie Arabia please log in to view this image
I expect that some sides will now start man-marking him with a midfielder. When he gets space and pings the ball around, then defenders can't pick him up.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens with the striker merry-go-round in the summer. Mbappe to Madrid looks most likely and you’d think it’ll be between City and Barca, who will somehow find a financial loophole again, for Haaland. If Kane decides he wants out again then his options could be pretty limited, as I doubt we’d sell to anyone in England apart from City, and he doesn’t seem the type to go abroad. An awful lot will depend on where we finish and what Conte does, and even if both of those outcomes are favourable to us, it’ll depend on other movements in the market if Kane still wanted out.
