Perhaps he's seen others running on the pitch and decided he'd go 'one better'. The fact remains, aside from a suspicion used to reinforce someone's opinion, there's no proof he, or his daft dad, were two pound ticketers. :emoticon-0100-smile

A steward was on the case quite quickly - looked like the kid was denying he was there with any adult (lots of head shaking) and he eventually got escorted out to the East Stand concourse.

Banning them and their dads/accompanying adult seems the only thing to do that might deter others, but I can’t help worry that it will go the other way and end up being a badge of pride like ASBOs did amongst young scrotes.

I'm assuming a guy who pays for a season ticket or membership, which also suggests he cares passionately about Hull City, would not let his scruffy little jerk of a kid run on the pitch and risk them both getting a 3 year ban, hurting the club financially and have other supporters who sit around them refer to them as 'the nobheads' every week.

But maybe I'm wrong and he is a regular who will be very easy to identify if not already identified by the club.

Hopefully a lengthy ban for him and the kid.

Much more likely it was a one off attendance at a game , the alternative is a really stupid person
who wanted to go to future games and now has a 3 year ban

People do all sorts of stupid things in the heat of the moment. Particularly kids.

On another note Grimsby had a great bunch of lads away at Chesterfield today class.

Given most clubs seem to operate at a loss, maybe they could cut the Policing bill by setting up the club as a 'not for profit' Charity?

'Cash strapped' force picks up bill for 120 Boat Race police.

The Boat Race Company Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Oxford and Cambridge Rowing Foundation, a UK based charity.

Its most recent accounts- to end of March 2019 – and lodged with Companies House in 2020, says the directors “have elected not to include a copy of the profit account within the financial statements.

“These financial statements have been prepared and delivered in accordance with the provisions applicable to the small companies' regime”.

During 2019, however, it says the company paid £125,000 to each of the Cambridge University Boat, the Cambridge University Women’s Boat Club, the Oxford University Boat Club and the Oxford University Women’s Boat Club.

“The boat clubs are stakeholders in the ultimate parent undertaking, the Oxford and Cambridge Rowing Foundation,” it says.

The Boat Race was sponsored this year by cryptocurrency exchange brand Gemini who also included a £75,000 bursary scheme to help young engage young people in the sport who have limited access to rowing.

We think we've got problems. Bottles thrown onto the pitch at Glasgow/Celtic, game held up to clear broken glass from goal area!

This is always a fun read for occasions like this (bit dated so the fees will be more now)

Don’t see anything that stops them charging not for profit organisations

You're not the only one, but could people just stop saying 'cnut' when they really mean '****'. There's really no need.
