I have to say Tottenham have looked avert good side over the last month and today we got completely outclassed. Thanks for the banter and I'll be back nevxt season
Fantastic second half chalk and cheese with the first front 3 were top draw 2nd half, with Doherty, Davies, Romero and Bentancur all worthy of praise. Top 4 here we come - for 1 day at least
Most complete Spurs squad performance I've seen in the PL for many years. The message should be that the Moura / Bergwijn etc have to deliver something on whatever meagre opportunities come.
Incredible how we've turned our GD around so quickly with results like this. It's unlikely to matter in the race for top 4 and I still make Arsenal heavy favourites but it's just helped us get a little edge for now. I think it also helps that you have a few games that essentially last 60 minutes at this stage of the season, as tiredness can creep in. COYS
You ever need any more proof Harry Kane is world class, we scored 5 goals today and he wasn’t amongst them yet was easily MOTM, not many strikers can pull that off. I moved to Devon last week so didn’t go today, typical that I missed a great second half of football. The third goal was probably my favourite, front three all involved in a beautifully well worked goal. Lot of good performers in general though, especially second half. Happy days.
Congratulations on finishing in the top-4. Now that you’ve overtaken us in the league, we’ve got no chance of reclaiming that spot back. CL football is officially back at Spurs. ….
First time in I would say for at least 15 years *** that the Goons have faced a vicious fixture run-in where a PL top 4 slot is on the line and they are ahead of a pack. For Spurs, twas 2009-10, and we know how that turned out ... *** please feel to show otherwise
Today is provisionally Newton day (TM) 2022. *** *** Pending some < standard> investigation of Conte tax affairs (Chelsky and/or in Italy) to let the PL deduct points from Spurs.
