Was at the game, but thought it was a poor advert for the best league in the world, (probably). Leeds we’re all over us in the first half, much quicker and more aggressive. Their goal was a joke, looked like a brown envelope was passed before the game. We were better in the second half, had to be. JWP is beyond praise. The Leeds fans all knew what was coming. Left the match pleased with a point but neither team deserved to win. Next match to merit my presence is Burnley. If you think Leeds is grim then lower your expectations for Burnley. One of their fans once told me the entire population of the town would be just enough to fill Old Trafford.

Have to say Burnley is one of my favourite away days. A proper old fashioned ground and really friendly locals. On top of that they've beat all the odds by staying in the top flight and standing by their manager through thick and thing. Really good club. For me, that's what football is (or should be) all about.

Well I started as a Geordie, then became a Caulkhead, now I’m a Smoggy. So much packed into a mundane life.

Have to agree. I think Sean Dyche should be manager of the year, every year. To keep Burnley in the Premier League with very limited resources, takes a special talent.

A few seasons ago, Aberdeen played Burnley in a preliminary European tie. Some guys I know went down for the away leg, and ending up have a few pints and banter with some Burnley fans - now they are pals - they come up here for a game, and my chums go down there for a game every season. I wish all football fans could be like that.

Point probably about right though i didn't think the game was as good as others thought. Thought it was very low on quality bar the obvious.

Good day out though and will definitely take the point as it was important not to lose. UTFS

James ward prowse is an absolute sensation. We are so lucky to have him.

Stunning free kick and all round performance. Other than that not much to say other than I’m happy with a point to stop the rot

Sure the quality wasn't there in the final third most of the day but I thought the game itself was entertaining. Enjoyed giving the Leeds fans banter throughout the match.

I’m now at the point where I think JWP should be starting for England with Rice at the World Cup

Yeah, I don't think JWP should be a starter for England but he has to be in the squad that goes to Qatar. His FK ability cannot be matched by anyone else - it's such a weapon to have. And his all round game has improved this season.

If he’s fit, Trippier will go instead again as a 4th RB who can also take a good free kick.

Wasn’t Phillips good in the Euros? If he’s fit surely Southgate will stick with him. Leeds immediately looked better when he came on today, winning the midfield battle from then on. Did also coincide with Romeu going off which may also have something to do with it
