We weren't in the play-offs and now we are ...

    ... that's what really matters.

I actually thought we were terrible.

Slow, didn't penetrate at all. Lots of tipppy tappy.

    Buzzing with win

We weren’t great like, far too slow at times and predictable. Don’t fancy us to go up at all…

We may have been awful for 95 minutes, but we won.

Thats all that matters between now and the end of the season

The Crewe keeper after we scored was joy of the highest.

I thought we were awful, wingers that can't cross a ball and very little creativity.

We aren't playing well and I don't think anyone could sensibly justify otherwise

His record suggests he is very good. I know a lot of Norwich fans loved him and said his brand of football was lovely on the eye. Oddly he and Pritchard didnt hit it off then apparently. Seems to be one of his go to men here. I desperately hope he is the one for us. At some point a manager has to be given more than a year to achieve something, otherwise we will languish down here for a long time. If he fails this year I hope he stays too. I am not convinced he has done a huge amount right yet, but I think he is capable of it and interviews like todays gives me confidence, but he has to be given time.

I tend to agree. I am on cloud 9 with the wimner and the jump back to the play offs. Once the euphoria eases I will probably reflect on the performance. It wasnt really up to scratch and it is hard to see it being good enough in the play offs against a team like MK. There is time to see an uptick, and the players are capable as we know.

I honestly don't mind if we play like this till the end of the season as long as we remain unbeaten

I think he is 'getting by' with someone else's squad at the moment and is a bit restricted with what he can implement. If he is given time to get 12-15 of his own players in the summer (and I do think the rebuilding job is THAT big!) then I think he will get us up next season, but he does need time.

Wrong thread I know but, it's Speakman who should be worried imo.

It's a very good clip isn't it. I like the bloke and hope he does well here. Glad me and the boy stayed for the 6mins added on. Me Dad went down earlier for a pee and missed it. <laugh><laugh>

I would be staggered if KS is here a week after the season ends. Nowt personal, but I think the early Feb debacle wont go unpunished.

I agree 100%, once our 'fate' is decided one way or the other KLD needs to get his house in order with the share % etc and he needs to peddle Speakman imo. Leaving us short in defence and also up top tbh (O'Brien would have been a good option off the bench today imo).
I've no idea who is available at a Sporting Director level to replace Speakman though, it's not a position I'm familiar with. <cheers>

I simply don't get why teams come and show zero desire to go and try to win the game. Gills today and Crewe exactly the same. Fleetwood were time wasting bastards but at least they had a little spell where they came at us a bit.

It was very frustrating but I'm glad we got the three points.
