Neil Kinnock, Gareth Bale, Shirley Bassey, Roald Dahl, Vincent Tan, Charlotte Church, Colin Jackson, Shakin’ Stevens, Craig Bellamy …. your boys took a helluva beating ….
Would you believe it on Final Score on BBC 1 in the Championship round up they didn't mention the Cardiff v Swans game
They’ve basically done all they could to ignore the result - there’s a presenter going through all the games in the EFL, and surprise surprise no mention of the Swans
The Guinness Book of Records has confirmed that they believe that a new World Record was achieved at the Cardiff City Stadium this afternoon - 20,000 home fans have never left a stadium so quickly …..
WTF? My wife's been ill today and I've just seen the result. Gutted i missed the game annihilation. Hard to live that aggregate down.
Just been over onto one of their forums: “What a **** show. please log in to view this image by castleblue » Sat Apr 02, 2022 4:51 pm I've been watching the City approaching 60 years and for the first time today I walked out. I've seen us beaten on so many occasions but today, in our most important fixture, we were outclassed on and off the field. Swansea took the piss out of us today and in the process took the points, the bragging rights AND THAT RECORD, and they fully deserved it. Yesterday SM was quick to say losing the first derby was NOT ON HIS WATCH, but he cannot hide behind that bollocks after today. I don't envy SM the job he has to do this summer but I hope he has the balls to have the biggest possible clear out because there needs to be one. One thing he will need is support from our Owner because on his watch he can now add the sorry stat of losing ALL 4 local derbies in a single season. I hope that hurts him as much as it has hurt us fans BUT i doubt if he or his cronies will give a f**k.”

The opposition had better players - especially in midfield, looked well coached and drilled and played to a system. City tried and you can’t fault their commitment but they were just outplayed. Pirio Grimes and Downes were a different level to their City counterparts. What I don’t get though - and this must come down to management and our coaching and scouting opponents- is how do other teams outplay and beat them - Sheff U hammered them recently and they lost by all accounts limply at Blackpool. They just knew where our weak points were. Flint and Ralls in particular were shocking and City don’t need them here next season. Morison’s halo has slipped today and he needs to sort this out in training pre Reading. So yes I’m gutted but long enough in this tooth to accept City were well beaten today by a better team and manager.”
