Burnley were never ever trying in this one. They play everton midweek then Norwich and 6 points there are a MUST. Bursting a gut v city is pointless in their mind. Gd is also OK so they'll take a 4 or 5 nil loss and shrug.

That relegation fight looks a bit clearer. Non eof them look up to getting 35 points any more so 30 seems a target now for Everton. Win v burnely and imo they stay up.
Usually 40 points is the magic number teams aim for to avoid relegation, Leicester in 9th are only on 37, I'm unsure if that means the league has been poor this year or whether it's just very even with few standout or very poor teams.
I think the top 2 are very good. The bottom 3 are very bad. And a lot of the middle are quite even. Look how many draws have been which mean a lower points total. Saints, palace Brighton are 11-13th and have drawn 12 13 and 13 games each.
It's all over the place imo. It's been compressed by the evil cup timing, covid and its various impacts. The top 2 can get up to 97 points still in theory. There's a lot of points tied up in that. The bottom sides are god awful so are collecting none and then really there's no difference from say utd down to Leeds in quality or consistency. Loads of injuries, loads of draws in the midtable as well. The top 2 are in a league of their own. Chelsea should be better but have wasted their cl win by buying lukaku and have fallen apart. 3rd to 8th are all much of a muchness so can win against each other. 9th to 16th are all similar as well.
