    Liverpool defence is playing very high up the pitch, which makes it difficult for us to get out, but leaves lots of space behind for a quick break

    Better than expected maybe and decent performance at times.

    Unfortunate lapses in concentration or silly play cost us again.

    Time to cheer on Southampton, West Ham and Chelsea (not often we do that for the last 2!)

    Good question asked about the penalty.
    "How does that get given when it's nowhere near the ball?? If Diogo Jota has a chance of getting his head on it then yeah, but it's the other side of the box! Every week we see fouls like that not given when the player clearly can get his head on it."

    I'm not too sure that it is a good question. Irrespective of what has or hasn't been given every week elsewhere, grabbing someone and dragging them to ground is tantamount to violent play - it doesn't matter if the ball is nearby or not. Quite frankly, if it had happened at the other end I'm sure the person who asked the question would be screaming for a penalty.

    Man City 1-0 up at Burnley after five minutes.

    Other way round would not have been given and not one Liverpool player made shout for a penalty and Klopp said he had no idea until the replay

    Two years ago we had similar loss to Liverpool and we won the next two home games 2-0 and 3-0 and drew the next away game

    We need to go down fighting to give us a chance next year
