To be fair, if all we've got to do is reach the level Huddersfield showed today, we'll piss the league next year.
Frustrating thing is, 11 v 11 for 90 minutes, I think we get something from that, possibly all three points. As soon as we went down to ten men and KLP and Honeyman had to fill in for Eaves, we were knackered.
First half we gave as good as we got, yeh we had a couple of penalty let offs, thought it could be our day tbh but then the sending off changes the gane, second half only one team in it and was a matter of time I'm afraid. But despite that Allahyar could and should have buried that chance at the end which would have given us a point. Just hope we can end this abysmal run at home before the season ends cos it really is embarassing.. Is Shota the man to take us forward ... still to be convinced I'm afraid.
11 v 11 in the first half we looked pretty but never looked like scoring. Which is why we're where we are.
My sons a massive Town fan. He said the same, we were the better team until the sending off. They scored and then sat back and nearly got caught out at the end. Can't see them being good enough to go up
only a few days after the club warned fans not to enter the playing area and what the consequences would be, Eaves is the first offender - stadium ban was mentioned
Can’t really be too harsh on the 10 who managed to stay on. They grafted and were put in a **** situation by Eaves’ sending off. We still lack ideas and creativity going forward. This season really can’t end soon enough. Shift the deadwood in the summer, get some quality in and see where we are this time next year. I’m also unconvinced Shota is the man for the job. Still thinks he deserves a summer to get his players in.
I'm sure Acun will entrust this manager with next season but having defended him so far I'm not sure I would. We must be the easiest team in the division to play against at home. We all ooh and aah when KLP cuts in from wide but how many goals has he scored or created from that position this season. We regularly have one erratic striker in the box and no more. Longman apart from the occasional great goal is anonymous. And we have one attacking midfield player in Honeyman. Its turgid and never looks like producing goals. And after scoring 1 consolation goal in our last 5 home games, not to try something different this evening was shocking when we had Allayhar, Smith, maybe even Forss and Wilks who could have allowed us to play 4-3-3. Truly abject.
If it gets a bit tight and Barnsley and Reading close in on us I fear the worst. Could easily get very very uncomfortable by time Reading come here
Got to disagree there, only one bloke responsible for spoiling a good game and that's the one on the end of the red card, completely irresponsible bordering on stupidly.
Am I being too anxious by being concerned about us staying up this season despite being 13 points clear? Barnsley have two games in hand over us and if they manage to close that, our last games are going to be nervous ones. I won’t be relieved until it’s mathematically impossible for us to go down.
