Flossy won't be happy about this Manchester United and Arsenal have both been linked with Tielemans, who could be allowed to leave Leicester for £35m at the end of the season. (Metro) https://metro.co.uk/2022/03/26/your...rsenal-and-man-utd-16349651/?ito=newsnow-feed
Imagine winning the title then having that team picked apart by the bigger sides in the league. So glad I don't support a small club it must be awful
You said you would hate to support a small club. I pointed out that you do. What's difficult about that?
Bobby Charlton scored his in 106 games kane has scored his in less than 50. Stats can mean everything or **** all tbf. Kane has also scored most of his in competitive games not friendlies btw. I find it bizarre that we compare different players from different era's and expect a definite answer to who is best. The rules pitches, boots, ball, refereeing standards etc all vary so much that a meaningful comparison is a joke. Personally think it was remarkable that Bobby Charltons record stood for so long yet will be beaten twice in 5 or 6 years. His record going doesn't change the fact that he was simply a magnificent player and an amazing man for achieving so much after the Munich disaster
And you are nothing but a self appointed important person who lives his life on a football forum. Sad as ****.
Charlton also played as a DM and man marker on occasions for England but as RCL says comparing between generations is pretty meaningless far better to say who were the outstanding players of each generation .
On the flip side... I'd hate to support a big club. Imagine winning like 60/70% of games in a season and not being happy.
I'm old enough to remember Charlton in the late 60's, when I first started going to games. Glided around the pitch, instant control, 50-60 yards passes, thunderbolt in both feet, never had to look at the ball to control or shoot, could receive the ball with five men on him and get it off without fuss to a teammate in space. Magnificent footballer. Think one of my earliest games at Anfield, they won 4-1 and Charlton, not Best, was applauded off the pitch by all fans. Wasn't quite as bitter then.
I sometimes wonder who I would have supportered if I hadn't been lured into my rabble by a mate. The teams I enjoyed watching against us in the early years, were Palace, Pompey and Brighton, even a friendly versus West Ham. I used to enjoy the flamboyounce of Malcolm Allison and Terry Venables... https://www.theguardian.com/football/2010/oct/15/malcolm-allison-obituary I could have been a Palace supporter maybe even a Hammer, but I'll enjoy my memories for what they were at the time, treasured and something no one can ever take from you.
One of my first games Chelsea Palace in Cup. Incredible noise I don't even know who you support tbh? Who is it?
You must be delighted that our parent company Fordstam are allowed to give us £30m to tie us over until sale. Who owns the parent company: founding father Roman Abramovich
After hearing Rishi dismiss the reporter the other day, regarding his wifes business interests, he said all I needed to know. He's got about as much clue about sanctions as he has in knowing how to pay for a can of coke at a filling station. Worst part of all the other political parties are complicit in this corruption and bribery that goes on within echelons of government, so much so I can't even take it seriously, it's just funny how all this is played out so openly in public and despite a world full of lawyers, they are only interested in the aspects of law, that line their own greedy pockets, evident by their silence.
