If trade exports to the EU are suffering because of EU intransigence, then perhaps he should mention imports from the EU are suffering just the same as Brussels punishes both sides for Brexit.

He will be quoting the joke forecasts from the Office for Budget Responsibility next. Since George Osborne created it, the forecasting has been consistently wrong. Can anybody find the last time that the OBR inflation forecast was even close?
