I’m sorry but Dan James isn’t international class. He’s quick - and with all his hours of practice and training …… shocking really

Absolutely agree - and Bale v Kane is another prime example of what’s wrong with it <cheers>

    He should have scored really.

Who was the 9 who came on at the end? He was very lethargic.

Wonder if Russ was managing Italy tonight with these stats? <laugh>

In fairness, 10 out of 10 to Rob Page. Spoke really well after the game.

Happy to admit that he’s achieved more that I expected. <cheers>

Would Wales have got this far if Giggs was in charge? I don’t think so.

It’s difficult to imagine Giggs returning even if he is found to be innocent.

I think he's regressed since leaving The Swans. Mind you, most players who leave the magical Swans' suffer a similar fate. All down to a lack of Joe's ice cream in their diet, if you ask me. <laugh>

No place for Giggs now, surely. Page doing a good job.

I would agree Vetch - I’m not 100% sure of the Employment Law situation, in that, if he is found not guilty, then I presume that he would be (legally) entitled to return for the remainder of his contract.

Whilst that could be the theory, not sure how it would work in practice given the length of Giggs’ absence and what has transpired in the intervening period under Page’s control….

If we qualify for the World Cup Finals, the cash windfall that the FAW would receive should provide them with the option and financial wherewithal to pay up the remaining period of Giggs’ contract.

On second thoughts, Russ couldn’t have been in charge - the Italians had over 30 shots <laugh><laugh>

Well last Saturday, the Italians were in ecstasy and the Welsh were in despair.

Last night, the opposite - Wales in ecstasy and Italy in despair <cheers>

Not sure Giggs would think of anyone other than himself

What are the odds on North Macedonia taking out Portugal as well? That would be quite something...

I see you've recycled the 'good job they weren't playing the whole of Macedonia' quip :emoticon-0105-wink:
