Well, apart from the steaks, and salads, and fruit salads, and cottage cheese, and lamb chops, and pineapple of course. It doesn't look appealing but there's a little bit more to it than just egg.
Yeah but day one. Nine eggs. I probably could force myself to do it for a week in fairness. Just sounds grim.
Couple of my mates are Marines, they live on a diet of Wispas, clenbutorol, trenbulone and cocaine. So I’m sceptical about this diet
My QS (who gave me the diet) started this on Monday. Have not heard from him since. Probs not survived egg day.
Sorry, that sounds wrong. He's not my personal QS of course. Right, I've got one more week of JD gym membership and then I'm in limbo. Jury service next couple of weeks, don't know what I'm doing after that. Might have to try running again during that two weeks ffs.
Played Futsal this week(5 a side but with sidelines) - first time kicking a ball seriously for 17 years. There were only 10 of us so it turned out to be 2hrs almost continuously. Afterwards I remembered why I had packed in playing football, as the recovery time between games was getting longer, and not allowing me to do a lot of other sport in-between. Probably didn't help that I had run 7k in the morning and then had a fitness session with my trainer, but my adductors were aching all week, feet felt ****, and my run yesterday was 5mins slower than normal. Really enjoyed playing again and realised I missed competitive sport but now have to figure out whether I want to play football and mess up my fitness routine or hope that my muscles can get used to the direction changes that happen in football.
I played some 5-a-side a few years ago and honestly found it more punishing that I did when I used to play proper 11-a-side on a full sized pitch. I think it's partly because I was a lot older, but also because the ball never goes out of play so you don't get a breather. Also because there's only 5 of you, you're always engaged with the ball. In a normal game, there's loads of the play where you're not directly engaged, and just holding your position in shape. I also found that in 5-a-side, there's blokes who can't really play the game that well, but just want to kick lumps out of you. Remember playing a game against some Marines at Chivenor air base. Those lads are fit, but **** me football ain't their forte. Was pleased just to finish that game alive.
Good thing about Futsal is that it does go out of play but unfortunately there are boards round the pitch so that you can't kick it further out 'by mistake' when you are going to pick it up. But you are right, its much more continuous than 11-a-side. I had my fit bit on and found I had run nearly 10km in the 2hrs - hardly surprising my legs were struggling the next day. It doesn't help that the floor is basically concrete with plastic tiles on top. Good fun though.
Aye mate things are going pretty well at the minute. Not seen you on much which is a shame because man united were doing so crap
I was at the Atletico game last week and I didn’t even go in the stands, just sat at the bar and watched the match on the screen while getting hammered.
