What is going on with these injuries.

Ruled out for 3 months requires knee surgery.

    oh ffs.

I don't remember such a catalogue of injuries befalling Celtic.

    Bangura
    Izzy
    Wilson
    Broon

All long term. And many more injuries which have kept players out for a month or more.

    Wtf is going on?

It's even worse when they coincide with our midweek/weekend fixture list.

Let's hope Lennon gives the likes of McCourt, Rogne, Commons etc. a run out against Hibs.

Whats the deal with Rogne then? Lennon has tried just about everyone else at centre half this season- yet not given him a run out.

I know one old firm game he was ragdolled a bit - but thats only one blot on his record in the games he's played for me?

Im not saying he is a class act - but do feel he has more to offer than any other centre halves on the books.

Is it because he was a Mowbray signing? Or because he's pals with Hooiveld/rasumssen etc?

commons is still injured as is Samaras , even the fans that dislike Sammy might realise we need him now , with our injury list . Agree with the posters to have five long term injuries is unbeleivable and just sums up our luck. look across the way their best player Davis ,you could count the games he has missed in the last 4 years on one hand

Yep, I suppose it is all down to luck and we have had some horrendous bad luck over the last few years on that front.

Its all down to our new training pitches at Lennoxtown. "All weather" pitches are well renown for been hard on joints and muscles.
Ever sinc we have moved to Lennoxtown, our leg joint and muscles injuries have soared.

RB I think your sarcasm and stupidity has gone far enough but probably around the time between your first Communion and Confirmation when the team whose supporters you try to suck up first went to Murray Park they also had many injuries and had so for a number of years.
That was the time you were reading your sister's girlie magazine and you were not aware of what was happening outside your bedroom.

It's pretty worrying - especially as Hooper's starting to get as injury prone as JVoH!

They only use the all weather pitches when they normal pitches are waterlogged or frozen so they won't be using them often.

Tomcat. I was wrong to sat "all weather pitches, as all new training pitches and in fact many new playing pitches use new modern mixtures of sand gravel and other substances so water/rain drains off them immediately.
When the GAA opened their new modern stadium, Croke Park there were lots of complaints of players picking up more joint and muscle injuries than when playing on more traditional pitches.

Unlike some of the cissies playing soccer it sometimes takes a severe injury to stop a GAA player. Last weekend in the Kerry final a player broke his leg early in the game. He played to almost the end scoring twice.
