Great read that Ubes. Agree with just about all if it. Good to see someone else realise that Amos is the only midfielder we have willing and able to run. Also that Hendrick just gets the ball and passes it backwards. One of the most pointless signings of recent years!

So Clive says he wants Warburton to stay and then completely batters the **** out of the way he's ballsed things up recently.
He also agrees that there appears to be player unrest due to Warburton's crap decisions.
A completely damming report on Warburton's coaching etc.

    Spot on.

Yes I know, I was referring until they got a foreign coach with more forward thinking ideas. Look at nearly every club doing well and playing good football now and you'll see a foreign coach in charge. Its not just the elite teams of the Prem either, look at Palace since Viera took over from the dinosaur, a side transformed. The only clubs doing well under British managers I can think of are Forest, Boro and Bournemouth. The first 2 have excellent managers in place who set their sides up with attacking intent and inventive ideas while Bournemouth have a **** in charge but have spent bundles on recruitment. The days of managers like Warburton succeeding are long gone. Gerrard and Lampard of the younger British brigade might well flourish but only with a helluva lot of money spent on players. I'd really like to see us take a chance on a young foreign coach with different ideas, I believe its the way forward. We had Di Canio who I liked but it was just a brief foray, and Sousa who wasn't much cop but how much interfering from the Italians did he have to put up with ?

He's certainly not a fan of Sanderson either

No. Must admit I liked the look of him, but he was a disaster yesterday. Plus, accommodating him completely messed up the back three, putting them all out of position.
    Warburton is having a mare.

You know, the more I learn about the crazy selections, tactics and decisions the more I’m starting to believe there’s substance to the theory that Warburton is throwing this away on purpose. That would be crazy, right? But look at the list of stupidity on his charge sheet over the past two months. If it’s not that, then has he been replaced by a replica from the Planet Imbecile 9?

Mmmh? Hendrick played the ball neatly forward out of defence yesterday, set up Thomas on the edge of their penalty box with a nice back heel which Thomas sliced high and wide, and got onto a cross close to the near post which he glanced with his head just wide of the other. That was the closest we came 2nd half to scoring. He was the best of the 3 subs by a distance imo, and did a lot more than Dozzell who he replaced. Not brilliant, but OK.

Or he's simply not up to the job when the pressure is really on.

That too. But you’d have thought even The Stupidest Man In Britain would be able to work out that the best thing is to stick with what’s been working all season.

Have to say that Barbet deserves better treatment than this..... 97 consecutive games where he's played every minute and then demoted to the subs bench and replaced by that lump Sanderson......... doesn't make sense.......

I like Yoann and the crowd like him, it shouldn't end like this.......

I know Os is a fan of Hendrick but I don't get why we needed to loan him in, he's not added anything to the team dynamic, if anything we've ended up with him, Field and Johansen all occupying the same space.......... I'd rather have the Dominator in there over Hendrick.........

IMO the 2 loan signings have totally fecked us up, both unnecessary when we had our own players in those positions....... BFD sent out on loan to accomadate Sanderson, that is no upgrade.........

What have we got 8 games left, still an outside chance of a decent finish but wouldn't want to put £1 on it, a gilt edge chance wasted in 2 months after 12 months of hard work...........

    It's the R's way I suppose.......

That really doesnt say a lot Os. The 3 subs were ****e. In my opinion i would start Dozzell over Hendrick any day of the week. There is absolutely no need for him in the team.

I agree Trammers, the loan signings seem, from a distance, to have upset the the whole place. Amos has scored half our goals from midfield this season and hes hardly ****ing played, old crab Hendrick is a great asset if youre intent on playing it sideways or backwards, which we seem to be!

Fulham next and their squad is way and above anything else in this league. Their bench is like a 1st team ffs. Might not be pretty. Get Barbet back in and the back 3 in their positions they have played all season. Get our most inform striker on the pitch in Gray, with Chair and Amos as the two no.10s, give them the freedom again. Obviously Dykes is only allowed to play for Scotland nowadays. We will need legs over experience against Fulham!!!!

The more i look back at Sundays performance, the more im pissed off! The demoralising effect that Gray, Amos and Dozzell will feel was totally needless. Its like a kick in the teeth! Dunne (who has been find of the season) tripped a player for their 2nd. Sanderson got turned like a bus running out of diesel for their 3rd, so its the 2 midfielders and striker who are ****ing the play up! I really wonder what went through Warburtons mind. Whos the player putting the most pressure on the opposition......get him off, whos the tidiest passer of the ball......get him off, whos scoring for us at the moment.....get him ****ing off! What a plank

I've always believed good management was only signing a player that improved the team. Dunne, Dickie and Barbet as a unit worked, no variation since has. Sanderson f*cked up his first start and has done f*ck all since. Hendrick appears to be a 'water carrier', ok in a good team to link play but not in one that is struggling and needs inspiration. I think it's fair to say these were signings done more to say we've signed someone rather than with a strategy in mind. Who was responsible for picking these two?

As many are now saying, something has gone seriously wrong, ultimately the manager is normally the fall guy...

Thing is Soops I'm not sure many actually want Warbles to go, he's still got a huge amount of credit for what he has done in the last 3 years, it's just the last 7 weeks where things have gone south........ Besides if we start going down the route of changing the manager that will probably involve a change of backroom staff and who would you bring in? That has failed for the last 20 years or so, this is the first time we have stability and a bit of identity....... Warbles has got to get rid of that stubbone streak and go back to what we were doing that worked between August and January....... He's got nothing to lose and everything to gain......

    But will he?
It's all very well saying that changing the coach doesn't work, but it obviously does sometimes.

I wouldn't mind a young coach, with fresh ideas being given a chance.

The modern game is changing at a fast pace, as is the coaching. Gone are the days when every badge involved Charles Hughes coaching manual, who ironically was a fan of the long ball!
These old school coaches probably still have a copy of the robotic pile of ****e that it is. Any coach, up and coming should throw it in the bin and embrace the revolution of coaching. I used it for my first ever badge many moons ago and it really was boring. I didnt believe in it, i believed you couldnt coach scenarios in football as you couldnt predict if they were ever going to happen. Initiative, is key, good movement with a positive attitude towards play, freedom to express yourself, understanding and appreciation of every position on the pitch.
