Sad that a season with such promise is finishing with a whimper. That's football. Have a feeling the squad will look very different next season.

We have blown one of our best chances for play-offs/ promotion.

We’ve had so many opportunities to cement our play-off position and not been able to take it. **** happens.
But this performance is shockingly terrible.

MW has done some good things this season, but his team seems to have whimpered out of this season in alarming fashion. There certainly are some questions to be asked at boardroom level. All a bit concerning where this season will end for us right now.

We are still 8th, 2 points off 6th with a game in hand and 8 games to play. Not blown by a long way, but if we don't sort out whatever is causing us to go from 1 up and making chances to losing like that to the bottom Club today, we will blow it. Perhaps we are missing the skill, steel and finish that Willock, Dieng, Barbet, Jakobsen, Moses, Dykes, and Austin have or had, but we need to get it back for the beginning of April. Chair is certainly no Willock, he disappointed big time again today. Why Barbet and Moses didnt start today is a big mystery for me unless they have fitness prolems, tired maybe but they had 13 days to rest after today and are far better than Sanderson and MaCallum respectively.

Sadly i don't share your optimism Oslo. This is a different team from a few weeks ago. 3-1 down at home and you take off a striker? You replace Amos the scorer who was doing okay against a team that is bottom? It was ineptness by Warbs.

Nice weather, traffic lighter than usual. As regards the game, I’ve no words.

I'm not feeling too optimistic now, but there's a way to go yet.

The new back 3 was unbalanced and didn't know where they were.
    Upset the whole team.

I hope there is a good reason not to play Barbet...is it because he has said he is leaving.

The loans in January have done us no good...why do they have to play.

We need to start planning for next year.

I am not sure how many of our best players we will lose in the summer.. as I don't know who our best players are...and most of them are injury prone...and who would take them.

I am afraid I wouldn't worry if Dickie went or Chair too much..if we got a decent amount for them.

Oslo, agree with what you're saying. It's not over yet. At 1-0 we hit the post and then it's 1-1. We need a win against the rupperts and things will look different.

Well I was out but I'm glad I missed that. I can't really see us repairing the damage now but football is a ****ed up game so you never know, there's still so much to play for. It would be just like us to beat Fulham now, however unlikely.

Warbs pissed off, whatever criticism we might have of his selections and tactics I've always found him perfectly frank and honest in his post match interviews. I don't know what people really want a manager to say after a loss tbh.

A sobering appraisal...one last push after the international break? Trying to find some bit of hope but the glass is definitely half empty

Very frustrating indeed. I would be seriously pissed to be dragged of if were Amos, Dozzell or Gray, especially to be replaced by the 3 that came on!
So, to accomodate not playing Barbet, we shuffle all the defence over! Thats a mistake in itself.
I thought Amos had a cracking 30 mins, Dozzell looked good to me aswell, comfortable on the ball and doesnt panic. I would choose those 2 over Hendrick any day of the week. Sanderson gets turned for their 3rd and the 2nd is a trip from dunne.
Whats the plan gaffer? Take Amos off, Hendrick is good at doing **** all, take Dozzell off and Gray too! WTF!
As soon as those subs were made, the body language just dropped from everyone.
Warburton has experimented with a team right at the pivotal part of the season, no doubt knocking players confidence right down in the process. Apart from Field, the midfielders and strikers (if we play any) are lucky if they get a 2 game run in the team, no matter how you play.
I actually thought we would have sfood more of a chance getting something back from that game if we had just no made those desperate subs. Warburton is desperate at the moment and this team will be dismantled and it starts over again next season. Dieng, Field, Dunne, Chair, Dykes, Willock will all get attention from elsewhere. Amos will no doubt hand a transfer request in cos he gets treated like a ****. Hendrick can gladly go back north, Gray and Macallum will go back. Austin could retire. Dozzell, who in my opinion will be a class player will get attention from someone who knows how to utilise him and Johanson might get his hair cut for a full season.

Took all my tablets and brandy before kick off pal lol, backed Peterborough at big price to soften the blow as could see it happening. We've been pathetic for so long now and simply can't defend properly. Nothing will change until we appoint an astute manager who has tactical awareness. I'm no longer angry just depressed at throwing away a fantastic opportunity, there's so many positions that need addressing in the summer but the most important one is the manager. However I feel that the hierarchy are happy with him and their ambitions to get promoted were highlighted by the January transfer market. We needed to strengthen with quality and we didn't, we brought in dross no matter what others may say. Gonna be another few painful years ahead if we don't wake up and get a manager in who is forward thinking and not a decent coach .

That was ****ing **** from about the seventeenth minute. Clarke-Harris is a pub player and we made him look like prime fat Ronaldo.

We can’t afford to be without Barbet. Dickie is a shadow of the player he was.

If Austin has to play at any point, and frankly he doesn’t as he looks like a dad filling in for his son’s team, he absolutely has to play with another striker. Bloke looks completely shot.

MW saying he didn’t recognise that team and performance. Was he not in the dug out for Cardiff, Hull, Barnsley, Millwall, Blackburn and Peterborough in the Cup…?????

He could start by saying 'I'm a clueless prick' , that would be a start ! It's just the same **** after every game, why the **** can't he sort it out on the training ground ? It's not a one off performance

I love my team, I can’t imagine supporting any other mob, but they can piss me off. More than anything else I can think of.
Like some twat cutting me up on the motorway or another twat that lets his dog crap in my driveway or some old twat in pink shorts giving his bigoted opinions on foreigners whilst in Spain, these have nothing on the team I love ❤️
